We stayed here last July. Our reservation was for 3 rooms for 6 nights but we left early. There was my husband and myself, our daughter, two special needs grandsons, and my mom. We had requested connecting rooms several times, as it is so much easier with the handicapped children, and were told it could be done the day before we arrived. It wasn't. We complained and Rachel (night shift) said nothing else was available and that no one was leaving for the whole 6 nights. BTW - We saw people leave next door to my mom a day later, which was a connecting room (as just one example.) They were supposed to call us to let us know if they could do anything. No one called. All of us were in all three rooms. No one called. They as much as called us liars and said they did. The next day, the front end manager - Jennifer - called and said nothing could be done. When I said we would probably leave early, I was told - and I quote - "Wonderful. I'm sure I can rebook the rooms." When I said I would complain to headquarters, she told me to go ahead. It would just come back to her to handle anyway. WHICH I GUESS IT DID. I sent a detailed letter to the Wyndham Hotel Group and received a wishy-washy response about how they were sorry things didn't work out, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da. So I guess they just contacted the hotel to tell thewm about the complaint, and since the major offender here was a manager herself, she just filed it under the "I don't give a crap" category. If this is how they treat senior citizens and special needs children who are looking to give them 3 rooms of business for almost a week, then they don't deserve anyone's business. I hope one day Ms. "I don't give a damn" Jennifer knows what it's like to have handicapped grandchildren, although I would feel sorry for them! She's a poor excuse for a manager and the Wyndham Hotel Group stinks when it comes to customer complaints. Stay somewhere else, people, anywhere else. They don't deserve your business and your money.

Thank you for taking time to share your experience. It is unfortunate that it was not possible to accommodate the special request for connecting rooms for your large party traveling together. We strive to fulfill all requests but sometimes it is just not possible. As I’m sure you noticed when you visited, June is a very busy time at our resort. With the high volume of guests there is also a high volume of special requests that we do our best to fulfill. Our staff appreciates your family and all of the guests who choose to stay with us. It appears from other experiences that you have shared on this site, that you frequently have very similar difficulties when travelling. We wish that you had stayed and enjoyed the many things that make our resort a special place to make family memories.
