When we got to the hotel, they gave us a room that smell of mold, when i told the clerk about it, they move us to another room.
The clerk goes o yeah some rooms are like that, we can't get the smell out.
but still ends up renting the room out, to some other people, who kept the door open the whole time we were there.

When i booked the room i asked for king size bed, and we got doubles, there was no ice box, or microwave, like they said there would be.

The clerk said you have to ask for a microwave, and they didn't have any king size beds left. What a rip off

They had a room that staied open the whole time we were there, with a king size bed. When ask about it, they said o we just wasn't renting that room out.

I called book it .com to tell them about what happen, on my trip.
They called the manger, to tell him what happend.
He wouldn't do anything about it, or say i'm sorry or anything, he was a real jerk.

There is no more America Best Inn in Fort Walton Beach.

When me and my husband arrived to early to check in at our other hotel, we stayed a night in this hotel. I didnt expect luxury, however this was awful. It smelled absolutely horrible in the room and it was dirty. The shower was so clogged that when you were finished taking a shower you were standing in water almost up to your knees. The man at the front desk was very helpful, however this does not make the stay any more bearable. The next day we checked into our hotel in the Four Points Sheraton and loved it.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Ft Walton Beach bowling tournment. Half of our rooms (8 in the group) did not receive service. There was no refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board or coffee pot. The deluxe continential breakfast they advertise consisted of: corn flakes, raisin bran and 2 choices of little debbie snack cakes. No ice machine. People where using there hands to scoop out ice from a refrigerator in the breakfast area. I sat at the pool on check out day and watched the housekeeper clean a room. I watched her from the time she pulled her cart up and opened the door until she shut the door and pushed her cart away. She never took a pair of sheets off the cart, therefore the beds never got changed. I wouldn't spend my money at this hotel again. We paid $94.00 a night. The price you pay versus the services you receive in return are pitiful. The hotel staff were immediately on the defensive when you complained. Also several people paying cash were told different deposit prices. Some were quoted a $40.00, others were quoted $50.00 and one of my members was told they didn't take cash. They were charged deposits because they were paying cash. Cash customers could not pay for their two night stay all at once but had to come back daily to pay for their room--what a headache and pain. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS ELSEWHERE.
