The hotel is not bad for the location the rooms a very big outdated but not bad the bathrooms need updating big time the bathtub is to small the toletts are to low the hotel is right at the bay and very close to the beaches ft walton and destin the hotel also needs better maintance on the pool there were leaves everywere the hotel offesrs breakfast every morning the cleaning crew ia very nice and the fron desk is very professional

This is definitely a "no frills" MOTEL. It's an old, outdated facility that could be so much better than it is. Simple upgrades to the decor alone would help tremendously. The exercise room leaves much to be desired. The water cooler jug looked like it hadn't been replaced this YEAR. The continental breakfast was better than expected and the rooms are huge. Other than that, there's nothing to write home about.

Although July is peak travel season in the FWB area, I think paying anything over $60/night is too much for a room here. This would be a great hotel for springbreakers who would only spend a short time in the room. If you're looking for ANY kind of luxury, look elsewhere.

In the summertime when the prices are high at all of the area hotels, this is probably one of the best budget hotels. The property is clean, convenient, and is pleasantly situated next on the bay. Plus my stndard king room was huge. However it is an older property and the fixtures and furnishings are a little worn and maybe not always in great working order. If you're there for a night or two or planning on spending alot of time on the beach or water, this might be a good choice if you can get it under $100 a night in peak season.

My room was very large, with plenty of options for working and reading. The free internet is available wired or wireless. The wireless signal is nice and strong and the internet connection is fast. The room included a mini-fridge, microwave, and small keyed safe. The free continental breakfast included several choices of cereals, breads, yogurt, eggs, biscuits, bagels, juices, etc. and there are several tables and chairs in the breakfast area. The waffle house right next door is another option if you want a good hot breakfast. The hotel is well located relative to Hurlburt Field and several shopping options.
