We stayed one night late in January 2011, choosing this hotel because we frequently use the Choice Hotels chain and are familiar with the Sleep Inn usual format.
Our room was clean enough, no problems with service, some furnishings seemed worn but everything worked. What was a bit disappointing was that many small things seemed below average, more what we expect in a lower-priced chain motel.
The king bed had 3 pillows; not enough for most couples. The bath had only two rather small, very abrasive towels. Breakfast was the most minimal assortment we have ever seen in a Sleep Inn, leaving the impression that the management is trying to cut costs.
We'd check other options if staying in Fort Pierce again.
