“We loved our vacation at Abaco Beach Villas!”

After doing much research, I believe we found the perfect family vacation at the Abaco Beach Villas. The location is at the quiet end of the Island. Short walks to just about everything. I booked directly with the owners (Susan and Peter) who live nearby and greet you personally. I cannot imagine what else they could do to better cater to families.

The unit we stayed in was complete with a full kitchen (including dishwasher), washer and dryer. All dishes, silverware, and cups were provided. There were three televisions and a DVD player. The beachfront pool has umbrella tables and gas barbeque grills for cooking out. They even had a fishing pier and boat docks on the island side.

We rented jet skies next door at the Peach Shell Resort and took the Island Tour from the mainland to Captiva Island. Lots of interesting food choices in the nearby Times Square area.

“Love Fort Myers BeachVillas”

I just spend a week at Fort Myers Beach, staying at the BeachVillas (Abaco) (250 Estero BLVD) and just LOVED it. We rented a 2 bedroom condo (end unit), that had a balcony on either end of the building so in the morning we could watch the sun rise from the master bedroom balcony and watch the sun set on the living room balcony. The views were breathtaking and we just hated to leave. We would definitely go back

The condo was a 15 minutes walk to Times Square (along the beautiful white beach of Fort Myers) where there were many restaurants and lots of 'sourvenier' type stores.

We felt very safe and walked home several evenings along the beach with no light, listening to the surf roll in and watching the stars twinkle.

Peter who is the 'innkeeper' was great and very pleasant to deal with. I would not hesitate recommending him or these condos to anyone.

“Couldn't have been better!”

My husband and I stayed at the Abaco Beach Villas, now part of the Pink Shell, in February-March of 2007. We booked it 'sight unseen' but we couldn't have asked for anything better! Our unit was immaculate upon arrival and the owners were just wonderful. The location is perfect with a balcony to watch the boats on one side and the glorious Gulf of Mexico on the other. We could watch the sun rise from one balcony and then watch it set from the other....is there anything better than that?
We're looking forward to another wonderful vacation at this great spot in 2008!

Our family of four stayed in a two bedroom villa last Christmas week and had a wonderful time. Location was great, unit was spotless (looked brand new) and just as described. Nice nature park next door for family and short walk to everthing!

“great time”

We had a great time at Abaco Beach Villas. You can sit on your back porch and watch boats, large and small, come into the harbor or you can go out the front to the beach. Even tho you have to cross the street to get to the beach you are really much closer to the water than on other parts of the beach. Because you are near the end of the island, there really isn't much traffic. You also have a couple of pools to choose from. They do charge a fee to play tennis but you can go to the park and play for free.THe villas are within walking distance to the pier and public beach or their are Trolleys for those who really don't like to walk.THere were 5 of us who stayed in a 2 brdm unit. THe unit was impeccably clean..THe very most important thing to me. You couldn't tell that anyone had ever stayed there before. THere were a couple of small glitches that didn't really bother us...a light that took about 20 seconds to come on after you flip the switch and occasionally the microwave would interfere with the TV.THe furniture wasn't extremely comfortable for an evening movie and we are really a 2 TV family, but over all we had an excellent time. It is a little pricey, but it IS really clean.
