I got recommended by a friend to stay here. Stayed for a week and didn't have a problem. It is tucked away next to a small University. But, right across the street is Starbucks, a book store, Target! .. etc
When I walked into the room with a full kitchenette I was surprised. It was nice and clean. The nice full kitchenette was a nice surprise.Plus, the TV came with a DVD player. The bed was extra comfy along with the pillows. The bathroom contained one large towel. I didn't have any problems getting more. Apparently they had a shortage of towels.
The only problem was the guys right across. A bit noisy. The front desk person had no problem switching me to a different floor and room.Nice prompt service!
They also have a store which is called the Cupboard in case you need a snack or a meal.
For the price of the room and what your getting is actually pretty nice.

*Here is a huge tip!!! This is a cheap way to earn points for not only the Candlewood Suites, but also for Crowne Plaza!!!! And Hotel Indigo!

Overall the hotel is clean...but in the rooms we had ants on the night stand and when we told the front desk clerk and she said she would have maintenance spray. She also said it is normal for FL to have ants in the rooms. Also, you had to take your own towels down everyday to exchange them out and if you wanted your linen cleaned that too was up to you to take care of - meaning you strip the bed and then take it down and you get the pleasure of making your own bed! Gee I felt right at home!
We also had to wash all the dishes before we could use them.
It was too far to walk to anything in the area and they did not have a pool or an outside sitting area to relax in the sun.
I would not stay here again even if they gave us a free night.

For what it is it was just OK. The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes and was billed as non-smoking.

Very clean nice rooms. It's all new! Cleaning once a week. Just 10 to 15 minutes from all nice beaches on the island. Also 10 to 15 minutes from eating. Highly recommanded. Just one badly thing: At the swimming pool are no launchers. But jou go to the beaches so no problem. Suites are comfortable with for example free internet, dishwasher.

We stayed 3 nights longer than we planned (one night) so a good sign !
