Overall the hotel is very nice and new. The staff was very friendly and the location is very convenient as long as you have a vehicle. The negatives were few, we had a few ants in the bathroom, nothing major. We also had a crying baby next door which sounded as if it was in our room....in other words, the walls are very thin. We stayed 2 nights and so did the the baby! :-(

The provided continental breakfast was adequate and if you desired more it was available for purchase.

Overall, the hotel is very a nice place to stay...as long as you don't have a baby crying next door. :-)

We just finished a 4 day stay at the Hyatt Place in Fort Myers. It was such a comfortable home base for visiting nearby family. The price is so affordable compared to properties on the beach. The location though makes it very easy to access Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. We were very impressed at the wonderful layout of the hotel and the room. It had a wonderful sofa area in the room, that made it so nice to relax. We were very impressed with all the staff there. They went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The beds were wonderful and very comfortable! The only improvement we would mention is the breakfast that is included. There is a lovely breakfast area that the food doesn't match up too. We only had breakfast there on day because of this. We even used the option of ordering some food from the grill, and that wasn't too good either, dried out eggs.....
But there was plenty of other breakfast places nearby!

Very clean, friendly, efficient staff. Rooms are very nice. Booked through Hotwire so very reasonable. About a 30 drive to Bonita Beach 40 min to Ft Myers Beach. Small selection of breakfast foods, fruit, toast, bagel, cereal. But it's free. Pool outside was chilly to be a heated pool. Food at the restaurant is limited but very good! Shuttle came to the airport to pick us up, which was very nice or the cab would have been about $30. Decent fitness room free weights 2 treadmills , 2 eliptucals and 1 bike. Hotel is kind out out by itself. Ask for a room away from 75 and it's a nice quiet sleep.

I had a long weekend planned to Fort Myers and needed a place to stay. I found the Hyatt on Hotwire at an exceptional priced and decided to give it a try.

The hotel is off the highway and easy to find, however, with road construction, it was a little tricky getting to the parking lot. Once you found it, it wasn't an issue. The hotel lobby is bright and the staff always greeted you will a smile and were helpful with questions. The room felt like a minisuite. They had a divider between the bed and "living" area. The tv was large and could be moved so you could see it either from the bed or living area. The closet in the room was quite small, but because I was only there for a few days it wasn't a problem.

The hotel isn't situated close to shopping or resturants, so if you're not familiar with the area, you may need to do a little planning.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
