First, transportation to/ from the airport was easy. Great beds, great night of sleep. The internet was very slow in the rooms and was really the only downfall. Glad I tried another hilton product. This one did not disappoint.

I always enjoy staying at Hilton Garden Inns, and this is no exception. It's everything a hotel should be; it's clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location.
Pros:
The rooms are modern and spacious. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. And there are plenty of electrical outlets, so you don't have to unplug the clock to charge your stuff.
Internet is free and is fast enough to stream video without stopping to buffer.
It's close to the airport and across the street from a large shopping area with several good restaurants and a movie theater.
Fitness center is well equipped for a hotel with quality equipment including cable weights and dumbells up to 50lbs.
Housekeeping and the grounds team do an outstanding job keeping everything clean, inside the hotel and out.
Also the desk staff is very professional and courteous.
Cons:
I have no negative comments about this hotel at this time.
I enjoyed my stay here although it was only for one night. The hotel is located very close to the airport. The hotel is very well maintained and both the room and bathroom were clean. I could not hear any airport or traffic noise while I was in my room. I do want to note that I was told by th front desk during my stay that all of the king rooms have showers only so if you want a tub, you need to book the double queens. Of course, you should confirm this directly with the hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. The hotel is located across the street from the Gulf Town Center which has lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you there and also to the Miramar Outlets. The airport shuttle begins running at 4:00 a.m. There is a nice gym, although the exercise bike was not working while I was there. There was a business center with 2 computers for guests and there is also free WiFi. The hotel does have a restaurant and bar, but I did not try either so I can't comment on those. The pool area looked nice, but I did not have time to use it during my stay. I thought that this was a very nice property and would definitley stay here again if I was in the area.
The room was nice -- we had a suite on the third floor. The hotel is fairly new, so everything is in pretty good shape. We stayed here because our flight was canceled, so we did not have our rental car anymore. As such, we ate dinner at the hotel and it was absolutely awful; Stale nachos, chicken wings were obviously leftover and reheated, chicken teriyaki was like leather, even the ice tea tasted spoiled. It was so bad that I am writing this as a service to anyone else who may be staying here -- you have been warned!
I will definitely not stay at this hotel again when in Fort Myers area. At check-in, two employees were chatting behind front desk, they obviously did not appreciate having to take a break in their conversation to check in a guest. Room smelled musty/moldy near a.c.unit. Too tired to bother asking to be relocated especially with caliber of front desk personnel. The work-out facility was excellent...very clean, bright, one of the best! Great shuttle service to airport...very fast and friendly. Breakfast huge disppointment....comparable to a Holiday Inn Express. Entered restaurant at 9:50 am had already ran out of all fruit except honeydew. My tomatoe and cheese omelett had a very unusual taste, opened omelett and inside was filled with bacon grease. While waiting for omelett, employee comes in and starts eating off buffet yelling to waitress about what she did last night. Waitress comes to table twisting her earring and picking at the back side of her ear. At breakfast, only utensils at table are forks and knives. No spoons for coffee...instead one plastic stir stick at each table. One stir stick for the entire table to share, probably used by the people who were seated there before and after you. With all the hotels located near the airport, you can certainly do better!!
