Me and my fiance stayed at Candlewood Suites in Florida for his birthday week and the manger and staff were amazing!!! I wanted to suprise him with a cake in the morning and by the time I was able to talk to the staff at the desk it was too late for them to plan it. The girl at the desk Amanda (If i remember correctly) emailed her boss to see if anyone could pick up something in the morning. She kept in contact with me and told me that she might not have gotten the email. Of course I was disappointed, but the next morning there was a knock on the door and there was the manager and a staff member singing happy birthday to my fiance! The staff of course went above and beyond at this hotel. I am a frequent traveler and this was one of the best customer services that I have ever recieved. They were kind and knew the area well, unlike most places, and were just an amazing pleasure. The room itself was also cute and cozy. I highly recommend this hotel!

Thanks to a Roomsaver coupon, found this gem nestled in a quiet area, close to everything. They gave us a modern, clean, large queen room, with full-kitchen and desk area, wifi and many TV channels. Although we were only there for 2 nights, we did not use the gym, but it had good equipment, had TV, water cooler, looked immaculate. Loved the fact that they had washing machines and dryers at no cost. Lovely big lounge area with tourist maps, large flat screen TV and free interent/printer. The Front Desk was most helpful and another great perk was the free DVD movies that you could check out. Lovely outdoor pool and barbeque area. Fantastic value and staff that made us feel very welcome!

We stayed at Candlewood Suites for two weeks. What a fantastic hotel !!. Very friendly staff
extremely helpful and courteous. We took full advantage of the free grills in the pool area, we
barbecued almost every night. We made full use of the free DVD library with up to date movie titles. The rooms were clean and modern with an excellent kitchen.
Great laundry facility, easy to use. Great gym area.
If you are in the Fort Myers/Sanibel area don't miss this hotel for real value for money and fantastic accommodation

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful which made check in simple and quick. The room was fairly large with a full kitchen, although it doesn't have an oven, only a large microwave. The fridge / freezer was also large, as was the dishwasher.
The view over the pond is worth asking for as the alligator and turtles make frequent appearances.

The bed was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a bath tub with over bath shower. Towels are not replaced daily but can be exchanged at reception if required.

The room was not serviced but this is not a problem for us.

The television was a good size with a variety of channels although film channels such as HBO are not provided, however, the free DVD library had an extensive range of films to enjoy free of charge.

There is no dining room at the hotel but there is a Ruby Tuesday just across Sumerlin Road for which booking in advance is essential. There is also a Publix store about 1 miile away where provisions can be purchased for cooking in the room.

The hotel also has a free guest laundry and detergents can be purchased for $1 from the Candlewood Cupboard.

Situated south of Fort Myers, the hotel is convenient for visiting Sanibel, Captiva and the Fort Myers beaches.

The standard 12.00 noon check out is very handy if you don't have to be anywhere in a hurry.

Overall this was a great stay at a good, value for money hotel.
