Where do I begin? For starters, I agree with other reviewers when they say the old man at the front desk was a real unfriendly a-hole. That night was a total nightmare! Me and my mother went there for a business matter, we got there about 7pm. I paid the bill FOR 10 DAYS ahead of time, (luckily I got back a refund on my credit card for 9 of the days 24 hrs. after we checked out, which was the next day). There was dried puke on the side of the mattress, it was torn wide open along the edges of the box spring. The carpet looked like the floor of a theater on a week when there's a children's picture showing, (in other words, full of crud!!) There were boogers and blood on the walls. There were burn marks from cigarettes on every horizontal surface. I went to turn on the air conditioner and the whole front of it fell to the floor. There were electrical wires coming out of the wall. There was no coffee maker, or microwave which was essential for the time we were going to stay. There were no curtains in the bathroom windows and there were apartment windows next door staring right down on us! The phone was so disgusting, I didn't even want to touch it to call and complain, I eventually walked to the front desk, the old man said there were no other rooms available. We were so sickened at the thought of staying there that we actually drug our suit cases to the bus stop, at that point I didn't even care about not getting a refund. We found out that it was late for the buses, so we ended up back there, unfortunately. By the next day I found us a much better place to stay and when I brought the key back to the front desk, I explained everything to the lady, and she said she would give me a refund, thankfully she did, and that was probably the best part of it all because it did say no refunds.
