Super friendly staff and a great, clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights pre-cruise and chose the Holiday Inn mostly for its price, sharing a room with 2 queen beds amongst the four of us. With a car, this hotel is only a 20 minute drive from the Port, and only a few minutes drive to restaurants and shopping. They have a nice pool and a great hot breakfast including a really cool "pancake making machine".

We stayed here for one night on our way to Mexico, and would definitely return. The location is great. Very close to route 95 and the airport. Also, not far from Lauderdale- by-the-Sea, which is a good spot for cocktails and dinner. The room was immaculate and very spacious, with a separate sitting area, beautiful bathroom, and very comfortable king bed. Breakfast the next day was continental but offered many varied choices. The frontdesk staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel entrance isn't the easiest to see, so you should turn at the stoplight right before the hotel and proceed around the block to the entrance.

Stayed here as we weren't checking into our beach hotel until Monday! What a great hotel right off the highway if you are driving. All personnel were very friendly and helpful. Nice pool area. Great breakfast in the morning! Only 15 minutes down Commercial Blvd. to the beach with lots of restaurants. Would stay here again!

Having spent my life in the travel business I have inspected and reviewed many hundreds of hotels. This is one of the best in the world. Many of the big, expensive, hotels have no character and the employees are made of stone. You could stay there for 6 weeks and the front desk staff still would not know you. I have also staid in 3 Holiday Inns in Fort Lauderdale. None compares or even comes close to this one.

When you walk in the door one or two eager happy faces greet you from the front desk and every time you pass the desk there are more smiles and greetings. All the other staff members are just as alert and helpful as those on the front desk and all of this is due to the General Manager Jo Jean Allen.

The hotel is fairly close to several good restaurants and is in a nice neighborhood. They also have the best breakfast buffet I have seen in any Holiday Inn Express. usually my reports have some negatives - not this one. Everything was VERY positive

I hope I have not been too enthusiastic because I want to be sure I can get a room here next time I come in from my home in Costa Rica. This fine hotel should be full every night of the year. But I hope they always have one room left for me.
