Not all Hampton Inns are created equal and this is by no means the best. But it's comfortable and a good value and therefore recommended. On the positive side, the room was laid out differently than most and the desk was not in front of the air conditioner so you don't have to turn the unit off in order to sit at the desk. That's a plus. Another plus is that the windows open and have screens. Housekeeping is fine although if you look at the hallway carpeting you'll notice quite a bit of dust around the corners and edges. The bed is standard Hampton Inn and therefore excellent however the pillows are smaller than average. And the closet is actually a freestanding wardrobe in which the pole is from front to back so you have to put clothes one behind the other. This is fairly common in Europe and Japan but not often seen in the US. From time to time I stay at the Hampton Inn on Commercial Blvd in Tamarac and management there puts this place to shame. But if you get a good deal at this location, you should be satisfied.

Just as great as two years ago. The rooms look a little more run down, and could stand to be improved, but the bed sheets were fabulous and beds were comfy. The shower was still as strong and powerful as I remember. Free breakfast in the morning was a great touch. It was quiet with great service. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

After reading the many positive reviews that swayed me to stay at this Hampton Inn i was compled to write a quick review. First let me explain. I travel exclusively in Florida for business.
I'm a Marriott Platinum member & Hilton Honors Diamond member. I spend 140 nights a year on the road. This is one of the most tired propertities i ever stayed at in Florida. Think Red Roof INN not Hilton or Marriott. Cell phone service does not work in the rooms. Only the lobby and out front. The front desk said they do not have issues with reception. However three other guest were also in the lobby using cell phones. The room was clean. Super small. Yellow textured concrete walls without ANYTHING on them. It was VERY dark. Had to put three lights on to see properly.The mismatched furniture, old style TV, sliding cart for desk, phone only by bed added to the ambiance. It is also in a shady part of town. The store across the street has more homeless people out front than customers inside. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else. I rarely complain but can't imagine ANYBODY being overly positive about this OLD, TIRED property.
