Stayed at this hotel one night,before going on a cruise ship. This place was dirty, dark and dingy. It was so bad I refused to turn the bed down and slept on the bed spread. This place does not deserve any stars at all, maybe negative stars!!!! I was with a tour group and they assured me they would never book this hotel again.

It was my first experience with a Hamptin Inn hotel. It was a test for my next holiday in Florida in which I need to go to different places. All Hampton Inns have a free breakfast en free wifi and hade pretty good ratings on websites. That made me curious. I must say they passed the test! Bedrooms have evrything you need and good beds.Wifi worked great. Breakfast was better then I expected. Pool area was nice. The location is not bad but thre is just nothing in walking distance like shops or restaurants. Another minor point is that you are close to a busy road but the noise didn't affect your sleep. Service was great. We nmeeded a safe (there is none in the room) and they are avaible for free at the desk.

My company travel agency has put me here four or five times in the last six months. The location is OK since it is close to so many restaurants, but the facility is hurting. The hotel has a broken ventilation system so it has a dank odor from the inrush of outside air.

Right now, the work in the lobby area includes either mold or asbestos abatement and the enclosures are all improperly installed and are leaking. The room air conditioners (PTAC's) are loud enough to drown out the noise of the crack deals going on across the street. The TV service is a a dish service that is very limited, poor quality and goes out in bad weather.

If this place had any competition, it would have to get cleaned up and fixed. Great spot to open up a Holiday Inn Express nearby.

The weekend we went,we couldn't find a reasonable nice hotel for less than $159. We paid $ $100,but had to drive long distances to South Beach,casino and Coconut Grove.Overall it was fine.
