We had driven down to Fort Lauderdale from Orlando, with the intention of staying a couple of nights. We arrived midday and started to seek somewhere to stay, we discovered that there were very few places available near to the ocean front, however, when, on our third attempt, we walked into the Days Inn reception and were greeted warmly by the young man behind the desk. Despite not having rooms immediately available, we were referred to the Hotel Manager, who, with a great deal of reorganising, managed to find us appropriate accomodation.
Although we only required two basic rooms, we were given self catering on-suite rooms at the same price.
As the Days Inn Hotels are usually only regarded as budget accommodation, this one offered 5 star service.

This is an older hotel but the rooms were clean. The pool was clean and nice. Buffet breakfast was good. I would stay here again. We were here 2 nights on the way for a cruise. Friendly staff.

There was much noise and the windows were like coated with some yellow mildew, that you could not even see out of clearly. the hotel was dirty and reminded me of smoke.

Being a TRIP REWARDS member and staying at many Days Inns across the USA, I will NEVER return to this one!!! Rooms have no carpeting (photo on website shows they do), but the one I was given was squared tiled floor... really outdated old bathrooms and very very small.Bed was unconfortable, a/c didn't work well, and saw some bugs crawling around. Left the next day!!!! Days should send some underover people to check this place out!!! It's really BAD!!! Parking in their small lot was difficult, especially late at night!.. The only good thing was it's location - across the street from the beach and near Oakland and Commericial Blvd.
