The hotel was clean, but there was not a place in the hotel to eat or to get a snack. I have been coming here for years and the restaurant in hotel never lasts from year to year and it is mainly closed all the time.

Our suite was very spacious. Good location, but could have been a little closer to the beach. Location was further down the beach so that you weren't in the heart of the busy section. This made it a lot less congested with traffic and people and it was quieter.

If it's all about location, then stay here. walking distance to beach, Galleria, water taxi, trolley, buses. Studio bedroom is fine, but kitchen is too cramped; it worked out okay for bagels and snacks, but sink is very small and no counter space. Asked for DVD (was advertised as offering DVDs) and was told that they don't usually provide them for studio units. I will not exchange here again. Needs sound-reducing remodeling; we were lucky that people in next unit moved out after first night. Hallway noise depends on who is in the hallway and how considerate they choose to be.
Enjoy the pizza at the corner pizza store (down the street as you walk out of the lobby).

We stayed here for a night before boarding our Panama Canal Cruise. The hotel is in a great location....right across the street from the beautiful beach and in the heart of many restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is beautiful, clean, & comfortable. Our room had a kitchette and a balcony overlooking the Intercoastal, and we enjoying looking at the beautiful houses and boats. We are staying here again next month.
