Going over hotels descriptions in Fort Lauderdale Beach prior my vacation, brought me to so many misleading hotels in that area, without mentioning names but each one of them carries some Sea or Ocean or Beach or Atlantic names etc... . Some of the are honest and they write "half a block from the Beach" or "two blocks from the Beach" etc... , the only hotel that I found has the right description is the Sea Club Resort, it is facing the Beach and it has all you expect from a Beach vacation, like all other 95% of the properties it is on the West side of A1A , but it is facing the Beach. I can't tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed waking up every morning and having our first coffee on the balcony of our suite #610, the balcony is so big that we could have enterained 6 people on it, it is facing the Ocean and for the rate we paid you couldn't get any of that quality in any other hotel on the beach.
We usually have continued our morning on the Deck, their outdoor restaurant facing the ocean with the best breakfast you can ask for, the restaurant is managed by two German people that quality & service is their everyday task.
So let me tell you, coming to the lovely Fort Lauderdale beach we want the Real Staff, we want to be on the Beach as the Sea Club is offering, and not somewhere in the second row or third row from the beach, not talikng about the free chairs and towels they provide for the beach, not like the other hotels, their Wifi is free, their parking is free, and their rates are the most budget rates you can find, after all we didn't want to buy the suite, just to rent it and the price was right!!
Their staff is extrimly friendly, they will get out of their way to please you, the front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the maids.
Their rooms & suites are recently renovated, it is true that it is an old building from the 50th but a building with a caracter and charm, a bit of history.
My wife and I are highly recommending the Sea Club, and we made to ourself a promise to stay in that hotel at least twice a year!
Good job Sea Club employees & managment, we are coming back and soon.
Room Tip: If you can pay a bit more we highly recommend the Suite, otherwise they have planty of rooms that ha...
