“GREAT VIEW FROM BALCONY.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

I will definitely go back in a few months. Had suite on 5th floor; new kitchen, new bath and breathtaking view of sunset and ocean. FREE Parking. Manager extremely conscientious and eager to please; staff were very responsive. My A/C was working fine. Great location right on the beach and they offer beach chairs and great pool. Had private balcony with my suite! Hated to leave! :-( The restaurant downstairs was very convenient, friendly, good food, great drinks!

Room Tip: Recommend asking for a suite on 5th or 6th floor with private balcony and oven view and sunset.

“Awesome stay, so good I went back twice in one year!”

I get so annoyed with the travellers that expect the W Hotel status when they are staying at a motel. I went down to Ft. Lauderdale twice in 2011 April & July and both times stayed at the Sea Club. Perfect location across from the beach with free chairs, towels and WIFI everyday all day. I needed some me time and ended snaging cheap airline tickets and wasn't interested in spending all my money on a hotel....HELLO, I came for the beach/pool not to be coop up in a room. Staff was awesome, my room was cleaned everyday. The first time I booked online and got the free continental breakfast and 2 drink coupons per day and I thought that was perfect with the rate that I pd...under $300 for 4nights. Within walking distance to the resturants and shopping I couldn't ask for anything better.

The hotel hasnt been cleaned ,or updated since the sixties. The toilets were cracked and rusty. The air conditioner was missing dials. It was so noisy at night,I wanted to leave.I heard many complaints. If it wasnt paid for, I would have left. They need to remove this hotel from all travel websites.

This is a completely isolated review that is suggesting to remove the hotel from all websites.
As a fact, the Sea Club is the most popular budget hotel on the Ocean in Fort Lauderdale.
It is known that the Sea Club has the highest occupancy because it is priced correctly, it is clean and also renovated, and most of all has the best location right on the Ocean. It is true that the building is from the 50th, but it is very well kept considering the salt damage that the Ocean is creating to an Ocean Front property.
All our rooms have been renovated and majority of the reviews are testifying for that.
Yes I can read that this particular guest wasn't happy with our hotel, but his opinion is in the minority! as a hotelier I can tell you that it is impossible to cater to all kind of tastes, our hotel is decorated in authentic old style elements that are giving the building it's own charm, but not every one like old decor or nostalgia.
We are glad that we do satisfy the majority of our clients, and we do want to continue doing that good work.
Regards,
Michael Man

“INCREDIBLE HOTEL & STAFF (Highly recommended)!”

After choosing The Sea Club Hotel for a mini vacation in early 2011, I decided to make a second visit in the same year! Five star staff - from the cleaning crew to the management - excellent service! Especially, MGR.Ronen, who went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. Wonderful location, absolutely beautiful bedroom and overall great atmosphere. My time here was thoroughly enjoyed and I can't wait to see everyone AGAIN this coming May! I highly recommend The Sea Club, you won't regret it!!

“Sea Club is The Real Staff!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Going over hotels descriptions in Fort Lauderdale Beach prior my vacation, brought me to so many misleading hotels in that area, without mentioning names but each one of them carries some Sea or Ocean or Beach or Atlantic names etc... . Some of the are honest and they write "half a block from the Beach" or "two blocks from the Beach" etc... , the only hotel that I found has the right description is the Sea Club Resort, it is facing the Beach and it has all you expect from a Beach vacation, like all other 95% of the properties it is on the West side of A1A , but it is facing the Beach. I can't tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed waking up every morning and having our first coffee on the balcony of our suite #610, the balcony is so big that we could have enterained 6 people on it, it is facing the Ocean and for the rate we paid you couldn't get any of that quality in any other hotel on the beach.
We usually have continued our morning on the Deck, their outdoor restaurant facing the ocean with the best breakfast you can ask for, the restaurant is managed by two German people that quality & service is their everyday task.
So let me tell you, coming to the lovely Fort Lauderdale beach we want the Real Staff, we want to be on the Beach as the Sea Club is offering, and not somewhere in the second row or third row from the beach, not talikng about the free chairs and towels they provide for the beach, not like the other hotels, their Wifi is free, their parking is free, and their rates are the most budget rates you can find, after all we didn't want to buy the suite, just to rent it and the price was right!!
Their staff is extrimly friendly, they will get out of their way to please you, the front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the maids.
Their rooms & suites are recently renovated, it is true that it is an old building from the 50th but a building with a caracter and charm, a bit of history.
My wife and I are highly recommending the Sea Club, and we made to ourself a promise to stay in that hotel at least twice a year!
Good job Sea Club employees & managment, we are coming back and soon.

Room Tip: If you can pay a bit more we highly recommend the Suite, otherwise they have planty of rooms that ha...
