“The Granada was AMAZING. One of ft Lauderdales best kept secrets!”
My husband and I stayed at the Granada this past weekend, it was absolutely magnificent.
We were in ft lauderdale for a wedding at the Westin, which is right next door. Our hotel was a block from the beach and many of our family members spent $200 for a room at the westin, as soon as they saw our room and the serene environment around the secluded granada/la casa del mar they were all very jealous and regretting their decision to spend more then double the price for a "view of a brick wall".
I was absolutely shocked with how wonderful it was, I had obsessively researched every hotel in a 10 mile radius and heard horror stories, I was the one who booked the room and I am not going to lie, I was a little nervous what we would find until we pulled up to the parking lot. As soon as I saw the charming establishment my worries were immediately put to rest.
It was so calm and peaceful, secluded and beautiful. A central location, convenient to everything, but the high beautiful fence surrounding the properties and the beautiful tropical landscaping make you feel as though you are on a private island.
I was very very happy we chose the granada, my husband wants this to be our "new place" for nice little trips. The rooftop patio, complete with a bar and private beds solidified my opinion of the lovely granada.
Not to mention, the staff was fantastic, Geraldo was amazing, and after a long night of dancing at the wedding we were exhausted and they allowed us late check out with no problem or inconvenience.
My husband and I love the granada. I have been all over the world and stayed at countless hotels, but the granada was a beautiful hidden gem. I am very high maintenance and have phobias of every possible thing that could go wrong in a hotel, but the Granada left me worry free and over joyed, just what I needed on a fabulous vacation. I highly recommend it.
Room Tip: Geraldo will work with you to make your trip wonderful!
