We have stayed at many guesthouses. Villa Venice is very nice for the cost. They serve a nice breakfast, the rooms are clean and Scott the manager is very nice and helpful. The pool is kept warn and clean. There is not a lot of pool lounge chairs or room to lounge around the pool. The bed linens need to be up grades. Despite these few minor issues, we would stay again at Villa Venice again.

I would say if you want an average place to stay with an average crowd in a smaller establishment, this place would be good for you. Rooms are nice, but we kept finding used kleenex, empty bags and an old towel in drawers. The new owners are nice and appear approachable. NOTE: If this is your first time in Ft Lauderdale, GET A CAR! "Family" bars are not in the area, but if you want the main stream stuff, skip it. It costs about $20 to get to and from the airport as of this writing. The GLBT bars are mostly in Wilton Manor and not walkable. Much like any GLBT resort, its as frisky as you make it. If you want a massage, go to the Grand. You don't have to stay there to get one...assuming you want a real massage and not one with...benefits.

Have been to Villa Venice for the past six years (Sometimes several times same year) - Love the location, great overall features and favorite room is choice #36 (Pool Deluxe)

Terry, Scott and housekeeping staff are friendly, courteous and make sure you enjoy your stay.

We could not have been more pleased, with our visit to Villa Venice. The staff was welcoming and very accomodating. The atmosphere was relaxing. We cannot wait to visit, again.
