The staff were nice. The parking is free. The restaurant was clean. Maybe I'm used to a more upscale hotel but I thought it looked very institutional. There was a sign on the window air conditioner that said not to put anything in front of the AC because if it rains, everything will get wet. Need I say more?

Other than the convenience of being close to the port and having a free shuttle, this hotel is TERRIBLE. The rooms stink of masked cigarette smoke and mould and are in desperate need of updating! There are no windows to air the place and the window air conditioning is loud and annoying.
The restaurant is just adequate, but I had to ask for a CLEAN glass. Hmmmm. Not sure how clean the kitchen would be?
It is too bad because the pool area is lovely, but still does not compensate the the rest of this dump.
I would never stay here again.

This hotel was not very clean, and the rooms smelled funny (kind of like a combination of air freshener and mold). The front desk staff was pleasant enough to me, but they were kind of surly with most of the other guests I observed. They were also slow, and slow in picking up the phone, as well.

On the up side, this place provides free wi-fi, free parking, and the front desk will give you free bottled water, if you ask.

Given the condition of the room, I had some bed bug concerns, and I checked the online bedbug registry, to find out that there have been reports of bed bugs here. Luckily, I was only here for one night, and I kept my luggage and clothes on the bathroom counter, and washed them thoroughly before I went into my house.

It looks like the hotel gets most of its guests from cruise packages that give them a room as part of the package, so they don't have much choice of where to stay. Given a choice, I will never come back here again.

This was obviously an old Holiday Inn that got a fresh coat of paint and little else. The main benefits are the free transportation to the air port and the cruise port. The breakfast is very skimpy unless you pay an additional $5 per person for warm entrees.

The staff are friendly, but extremely overworked. It is very remote from anything else and the menus in the restaurant and bar are quite limited. We would definitely not stay there again. Very overpriced for what you get and definitely not up to the Ramada brand. It was certainly a poor start to an otherwise decent family vacation.
