“Relax in your home away from home”

From the minute we arrived in Coral Reef until the time we left, we had a great time. All of the staff are courteous, friendly and extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The extended continental breakfast is very tasty and full of choice. You can eat as much or as little as you want. You can eat by the pool, or take it to your room. There are also snacks and refreshments available 24 hours a day.

Because Coral Reef has only 8 rooms, it is very easy to get to know all of the other guests. You can make some good friends as you enjoy your breakfast by the pool, or relax in the hot tub. Everyone seemed very relaxed with each other, and all seemed to be having a good time. Some had been returning guests, which tells you a lot about how much they enjoy Coral Reef.

Our studio room was very spacious, with a kitchen and bathroom as well as a very comfortable bed. The towels were changed daily and on the one occasion we needed more shampoo and an extra towel, both were brought to our room very promptly.

The location is very good too. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Galleria mall, and about a 5 minute drive to the great beaches of Fort Lauderdale. Even though you are just off the street, it is so quiet once you go through the front door, that you feel you are out of the city. There is free onsite parking just outside the front door for the guests. It is also about a 5 minute drive to the nightlife of Wilton Manors too, so you are close to everything, without being too close.

I would definitely recommend Coral Reef to singles and couples of all ages, and we would stay there again.

Cute little 8 room property in a nice residential neighborhood. The new owner has great energy to update things, but leave the small boutique feel. With some minor upgrades that he's already putting into motion, this will be a great place. The location is awesome, walkable to a major mall for necessities, and with a free shuttle to Wilton Manors. The size lends itself to getting to know the other people at the house, which is half the fun.

“Stressfree Golden Break”

Stayed for 2 nights then planned to travel to Key West. Traveled from London, England so have stayed in a wide variety and classes of European Hotels. After the welcome we got from Bruce at the guest house we re-booked for the following weekend to return. Everything about the place is what you would expect in a high end hotel. The service that Bruce gives is second to none. He appears to be on duty morning, noon and night and nothing is ever a problem for him to do. From the first warm welcome we had when stepped in to the guest house to the last goodbye and hope to see you again sometime, our stay at the Coral Reef I think would be hard to bet anywhere! Definitely a secret oasis that I will definitely look forward to returning to again.

“Like staying with friends who are great hosts”

I was at the Coral Reef last week for two nights & I had a great time. The host, Bruce, and his team are really friendly and welcoming. They've done a fantastic job with the landscaping too - it's really beautiful. I wish I could've stayed longer but I am going back in December to spend more naked time by the pool. It's pretty quiet here so if you're looking for a laid-back, relaxing time under the sun and the stars, this is the place. It's really close to the beach too. I borrowed one of their bikes to ride there & was on the sand in under ten minutes. I met a few nice guys staying there too. My room was small but comfortable & had everything I needed. I'm looking forward to my next trip..!

“A very nice place to spend time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2010

I really recommend this place....mainly a nice place to spend time and some great hosts who are there to help but let you do your own thing. Nice rooms, beautiful breakfast spread, snacks and drinks throughout the day, a pool and hot tub. WHAT MORE CAN YOU EXPECT!!! They even provide suntan lotion and bikes if you want to take a walk or ride to the beach! I would come back here in a minute! Thanks Bruce, Frank and Jesus.
