I love being able to rest before a cruise .. it sets the tone for a great vacation with little stress. The hotel provides your transportation to the cruise port and allows you to keep your car in their locked parking structure during your cruise for up to 7 days (Ship and Shore package). Take a taxi back to the hotel after the cruise and you are quickly on your way home!

Everything was top notch. The breakfast saved us a lot of ,money. Great pool, hot tub, and the entire staff was helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dec for two nights before catching a cruise. The price was $150 per night taxinc. We were satisfied with the hotel, the staff and the cleansiness of our room. The free breakfast they offer was good with a variety of choices. They also run a free shuttle to the cruise ship port, which saves some shekels but was very crowded, make sure you leave in good time. lt rained a lot and they loaned us some umberalas which was a nice touch. The hotel is only about 2 blocks from the main bus station, from where we caught a bus to the Sawgrass Mall which is an hour away by bus. Security on the doors of the hotel and only the use of you door card would enable you to use the lift were welcome safety measures. The area around it looked a bit dodgy but there again a lot of Ft Lauderdale looked dodgy. We would definetly stay stay at the Hampton Inn again.

We needed a hotel close to the Broward Center for Performing Arts, staying just a night in FLL before driving down to Key West. The location is very dowtown, i.e. not good for beaches, but very fine for culture, shopping and dining.

The Hampton more than serves the purpose. Not the most interesting of neighborhoods, but ample free parking, ten minutes walk to Las Olas and fifteen safe minutes to the Opera House was convenient. Good service, great rates and a well-kept room certainly will make us come back. The breakfast is not particularly good, but it is included, and of the same type/ quality as in other Hampton's. If we were staying for more than one night, The Floridian Diner is five minutes drive away, so the breakfast does not detract!
