We stayed for one night in January, 2012. That was one night too many. The staff was bored and unconcerned. They were too lazy to be nasty - which they bordered on being. They simply don't care. The room was small and dated. The pool was cold and dirty. We ordered a roll away bed. It was not present. When it was finally delivered, the mattress was so old and poor that the springs stuck through. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The only dinner in walkable distance was either MacDonald's or Chilpolte. The neighborhood has nothing to offer. It is not that close to the airport. The claim to offer transfer service to Miami port, yet they don't. Worst place we have been at in years. Avoid at all costs. It should be rated a zero.

This is an old hotel and the parking is very crowded. They have a bar but the bartender smokes along with other customers. Overall, you just get a dirty "feeling" staying here. Front staff not at all professional. If you can find something else, I highly recommend it.

Maintenace of the hotel was overall poor. The floors in our room were sticky with hair in the bath tub and on the floor. Ants were in our traveling companions room. The one good thing I can say is the staff was very cordial and they provided great shuttle service to the crusie port. Could be a winner with some work.

From our two stay. regular maintenance to this building has beel let go. It certainly did not measure up to any other place in the Choice Hotel family we have previously used.

All the ice machines out both days, broken equipment in fitness room, The men's room next to it out of service. The outside pool area needing trash cleaned up from concrete deck.

A front offrice staff who seem uninterested in taking care of guests efficiently or in a timely manner. A sign posted on the ice machines said see the front desk to get some ice while front desk seem to know anything about the notice. Not able to provide list of area food establishments , a map of the area, or directions to get to the food places.

A room with a broken hair dryer, a bathroom fan incapable of doing anything., a blood stained pillow case.
