This hotel was a very disappointing experience right from the start when we checked into our very small room which smelled as if it was just fumigated. We couldn't get rid of the smell the whole stay. The rooms are small and oddly planned - from your bed you stare at a microwave mounted into a small kitchenette opposite the bed. Why they have a microwave but no kettle or even a cup is a total mystery. Once you The rooms face internal courtyard and share common hallway with no noise insulation you are woken by late arriving guests. The pool area is in the shade, very small and not very clean or where you want to spend any time. It seemed that a lot of thought went into design of the common area and the restaurant but unfortunately the same could not be said about the rooms which looked very worn and motel-like as if they ran out of funds and inspiration by that time. Given that you are a block away from Four Seasons there hard justification for staying in this substandard room for a small discount.
