I was visiting family in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to stay at an Extended Stay on Andrews Avenue. A lot of the cheaper, nice hotels by my sister (by the beach) were booked so i booked this place. It was only 2 miles...well this place was in a little corner by itself overlooking the LOUD highway (I95) and the loud sound of LOW airplanes all night didn't help much either. We got there. You're in florida...thought there'd be a pool..NOPE...we walked to the front desk...waited about 3 minutes..the front desk staff was too busy talking in the other room and totally ignored us.....the room was ok...smelled clean..everything was clean i'll give it that..but there's no maid service..u have to go get your own towels, linens..etc...the walls are soo thin, you heard the room next door...walking in the parking lot at night was kinda scary...FAMILIES..DON'T STAY HERE!!!! Pay the extra money....For $99 a night..that's a little steep for a bad hotel/area...One word....YUCK!!

We stayed in Extended stay America Cypress Creek for 5 nights and it was HORRIBLE.
It is situated between two highways and the walls are made from paper probably, so it is so noisy, I could not sleep whole night - when somebody was snoring in next room it was like he or she is next to you!
We booked non-smoking room, but the room was like you live in ashtray - especially in bathroom the smell was horrible.
The bathroom curtain was mouldy - it was so disgusting!
I have to say that I have tried to be outside the room as much as possible, because it was the worst room I have ever stayed in - so my advise is - AVOID THIS!

The from desk and the management are unprofesional.
Every day you get a new problem.
Check in; 2 hours late, when I got the room, the room was for handicap, The room that I booked was unavailable, so after 2hs they gave me a room, but in the room The A.C no working good; the room no had clock and R.C. The rooms were supposed to be non smoking and they smell like cigars
The linens are hard to get from the staff even on the lite maid service day.
The customer service was rude and not friendly. If you want to pay a hotel room and then take out your own trash, carry towels to and from the front desk, and make your own beds... this is your place, to get stress.

This is my review of the Extended StayAmerica Fort Lauderdale - Cypress Creek.

First off, the stay is very RUDE, even the manager. The location of the hotel is bad because it is off Intersate 95 and the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. So is it very very noisy.

The furniture in the room was damaged. The linens are hard to get from the staff even on the lite maid service day.

Try the Studio Plus near by or the new extended stay Cypress Creek - Park North.

BTW, the studio plus pool is very small.
