We stay here one night before a cruise and it was excellent. Good transportation from airport and convient transportation the next day to the dock. Rooms were fine and clean. Restuarant was a good addition. Location is industrial so it looks like you will have to taxi to anyplace. It fit our needs perfectly and I do not care if the lobby was small.

We stayed here the night before our cruise ship left on Sunday. All of the guests we talked were cruise goers. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had a king room on an upper floor. The room was large, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was contemporary with a nice shower head. I must have taken a shower at a popular time because the water temperature was lukewarm.

The pool area was really nice both during the day and night.,

We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. Both of us had the talapia fajitas. The fajitas would have been excellent except for a taste of possible freezer burn on the fish. The service was friendly and accommodating.

We took a taxi to the cruise ship and paid $15 with tip for two people.

The prices do seem high for the hotels located near the airport/docks.

I was in the Miami area for a meeting on Friday so landed on Thursday night and then had to drive to Sarasota on Saturday. The hotels in Miami were insanely priced. As I was landing into FLL airport I chose this hotel.

The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the airport. The entrance is from main road but the lobby is inside so look out for it. I got in past midnight. If you are a priority club member you get free internet and free parking which makes it a good deal. The hotel is used a lot by cruise travelers as the cruise port is 5 minutes away also. This is why the weekend rates are higher than weekday rates.

I had a King room. The room was quite bare with a violet/indigo colored wall. The internet was crawling. The absolute worst part of the hotel room was the very very noisy air conditioner. If you kept it on you could not get sleep. If you switched it off it became cold as FLL was in the 50s.

I would not repeat this hotel in the FLL area. I paid $189++. For 100 more you get the Westin at Atlantic Ave. No comparison between the two.

This was the last hotel on our trip, and it was a great choice. The hotel is extremely close to both the Cruise Terminal and the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. We arrived early, and check in was a breeze. There is no free parking at this hotel. You have to pay $10.00 to park yourself, or $15.00 for the valet.

The room was very nice, very clean, and brightly painted. Out of our window, we could look down to see the pool (was quiet when we were there, temps 65-76 degrees, but could be louder in warmer weather, considering it is open 24 hours a day).

We could also see the two cruise ships that were docked.
The room was very clean, large chair and ottoman, desk and chair, free wi-fi, flat screen tv. The bathroom came with plenty of towels, and was just a generic hotel bathroom, nothing fancy, but it was clean and well laid out.

We decided to return our rental car that night, and hired a private sedan service to take us to the airport in the morning. The hotel sent their shuttle bus to the airport to pick us up.

The reason we hired the private sedan, is that we were flying out of Ft. Lauderdale on our way to BWI and wanted to get to the airport in plenty of time to check in. This hotel, along with about 3 other properties (Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites, Best Western, and possibly more) are owned by the same family, and share the shuttle. We did not want to be late for our flight due to having to drive all over picking up other people.

The hotel gave us some info on local restaurants, and we ended up picking Slackers Bar and Grill, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Get the onion rings.

For our private sedan, we used Larry's Limos. Although we only paid for a sedan, they sent an 8 passenger limo at no extra charge. This is probably not the norm, but if I am in this area again, I would definitely use them again. The driver was very professional.

Overall an excellent stay!
