We were so lucky to stay at this amazing resort in January. We had room 1 which was gorgeous and suited our family. All of the other reviews are correct. Matt has a brilliant establishment and has surrounded himself with the most wonderful staff. A big thank you goes to Ernesto who was always willing to give us advice on where to eat, shop. Etc. we are going back next January and have booked it already.

My wife and me spent almost a week at this superb small hotel.
It has a great location just a short walk to Central Beach with quite and noiseless nights.
Our room (#10) was very clean,neat, confortable with a spacious bedroom and living room.Include AC,microwave, small fridge,coffe maker,cable TV and WiFi internet as well.
From 07.00 am to 10.00 am you can enjoy a very good and healthy breakfast.
Beatiful garden,nice swimming pool and free parking.
Ernesto and Matt as owners and staff were very accomodating about helping us in a wide range of matters from shooping, tourism,dine, even to discuss about domestic and international affairs.
No doubt, we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Alhambra Beach Resort while in town for a trade show. We stayed in Room 5 - a one-bedroom apartment. The room was very clean & looked as if it had just been remodeled. It included a full kitchen/bar/living room with a spacious bedroom and bath. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was efficient - although the weather was so mild during our stay, we ended up turning off the A/C and opening the windows - slept like a rock. Ernesto was very accommodating about helping us find places to dine and getting taxis. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything that we needed. The pool and garden area was very well cared for, and was a nice retreat at the end of the day and for coffee in the morning (lots of tables and umbrellas). There is a great restaurant right next door that has outdoor seating right on the ocean - Casablanca - and a Starbucks one block away. This location was a short walk to the popular bars and restaurants along the beach. Would definitely stay here again for the personalized service and the home-like feel of this boutique hotel.

I found this gem on Trip Advisor and feel as if we discovered a hidden gem! Like many, my friend Sonia and I were looking for a place to stay before leaving for a cruise. Matt and Ernesto are the keys to the success of this charming place. The service is of the quality which one never experiences anymore.
The location is perfect. A quiet street just steps from the ocean, the strip and great restaurants and shopping.
We stayed in Room 1 which had 2 very comfortable beds, a TV, dining room and kitchen. Tiny bathroom but we managed. My friend has WAY too much bathroom stuff ;-)
Each morning we just walked out our door to a complimentary computer with internet, breakfast and a sunsoaked pool and patio. The room was just beautiful, with a touch of the old but all spruced up.... and so very clean! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering a stay in Fort Lauderdale...... but please don't book anything until I book a holiday for myself next year! Carol
