We had a very nice vacation at this charming motel. We went there with another family for the last week of June. This place was extremely clean and well maintained, both outside in the courtyard (pool, BBQ, tables/chairs) and in the room. We had a large room with a fully equipped kitchen, which we really enjoyed. The managers are welcoming, friendly and serviceable should you have a special request. They recommended us some good restaurants to try and some nice outings. They even lent us some beach equipment for the week. The wireless network was also working perfectly. In summary, we had an awesome experience at the By Eddy.

We highly recommend this place and we will for sure return there the next time we go to Fort Lauderdale.

Im not exactly sure how I should rate this place. When we arrived to check in there were like ten people sitting down in the middle of the complex staring at us. It was rather strange and felt like we were entering an apartment complex where people live instead of a hotel. The men that checked us in were very nice and hospitable. The room was clean and looked like it was pretty well kept up but looked old.
My only real complaint was that at around 7am some lady brought her baby downstairs and sat down near our front of our door and the baby was crying real loud which woke us up. The tables and chairs in the middle of the complex are all very close to the doors to the rooms so it sounds like people are talking right outside your door.
If you are looking for a bargain hotel in a good location this is the place for you but like I said...it was just ok.

We stayed here for three days before a cruise. The motel is very nice and quiet, with a lovely patio surrounding the pool. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook. The beds are very comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. It's the best and cleanest Motel and Apartments we have ever been in. The staff is very frendly and helpful.

A vehicle is almost a must, like everywhere else in the US. We did not have one, so we walked to the downtown. It took 25 minutes.
We highly recomend this place to anyone wanting a nice place to stay in Ft Lauderdale.

My husband, my 7 month old baby and I stayed at By Eddy for 9 nights in April and we had a wonderful time.
The motel is very nice and quiet, with a lovely patio surrounding the pool. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. You have everything you may need to cook, in case you want to eat in. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and tidy.
Alma and Serge, the owners, are the nicest people! My baby got sick while we were there and they were very kind and helpful.
Also, they provide towels for you to take to the beach and even chairs and umbrellas.
You will find a great supermarket and a huge pharmacy right on the other block of the motel, for whatever you may need. The beach is not walking distance, but we had a car so it took us 3 minutes to get there!
I´d definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some nice, relaxed, comfortable days in Ft. Lauderdale without paying a fortune in accomodation! We´ll be back!
