This place met all what we were looking for. First, the rooms were just like small appartments with a small kitchen, perfect for catering to our basic breakfast and lunch needs. The rooms were very cleam and tastefully decorated. The pool area also well msintained. The entire complex was quiet with an exceptionsl view on the canal. This was the perfeçt homrbase. We went to the beach, shopping, sightseeing and came back fir a relaxing dip in the pool before dinner. A BBQ grill is available at the pool area and we found ourselves having a nice candlelight dinner in the evening. The location is convenient as it is close enough to the beach area and to the Las Olas boulevard tourist activities. The staff is also very nice and attentive. We were there before Easter and the hotel common grounds were decorated with bunnies ans easter eggs which brought a nice homely atmosphere, which you would rarely find anywhere else. Yes, I highly recommend this place.

Away from the busy areas of Ft. Lauderdale yet close enough to walk to Las Olas Blvd for shopping or excellent dining. Tropical setting - lots of plants in courtyard, nice pool area on the intracoastal, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful furnishings and bedding. Only negative for me was I could not get my room dark as the hall lights were on all night and came through my blinds and glass door. Would have loved black out drapes to make it perfect. Would definitely return with no reservation.

This place is awesome. A real jewel! It's just far enough off the beaten path. Rode my bike into the business meeting each day. It's like a secret tropical oasis! Fresh flowers and 2 small bottles of wine for a welcome gift!

Stayed at Villa Venezia with family of four, for 10 days in november 2010. Location in a very quiet area in the Island District in Ft.Lauderdale. Nice appartments, just redecorated in different themes for every appartment. The whole facility is very well maintained and staff present almost at all times, very serviceminded and helpful. Cleanliness and room caretaking is one of the best we have experienced in US so far.
Kitchen very well equipped. Pool area was clean and nicely equipped with sun chairs.
Location is spectacular in the channels, and very easy to find and access by car.
