This is definitely not a family hotel, throw my stay I’ve seen drug dealers, prostitutes doing their business right there staying at the hotel for weeks! And the Kentucky trash coming to Florida for drugs. For those who don’t now, Kentuckians going out of state to get prescriptions from doctors, primarily for pain pills, then bringing the pills back to sell and abuse. From what I’ve overheard from other guests they do return to the hotel on regular basis, the front desk person was asking the guest for drugs and while the FD person was having a good time having drinks and smoking cigarettes he asked one of the guest to answer the phone, because he was to busy??? From what I’ve seen the front desk gentleman does not have any communicational skills, is very rood and is rarely seen at front desk. The manager so called Penny, has no idea how to run a hotel, or now how to treat the guest.
To the hotel: Its old, rooms are clean but smelly, mildew everywhere. Seems like the 3d floor is the best to stay at and definitely the south side. On the north side is the bar, which has loud music all night. 1st and 2nd floor rooms on the north side are all trashy, furniture has holes in there, so the sheets and bad covers. And towels, well, if you decide to stay at this hotel after reading this, you better bring your owns. For a room with 2 dbl beds which can accommodate 4 people has only 2 big (small) towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash rag. And if you go to front desk to ask for some more, they don’t give you because they don’t have any extra left. The pool is cold, the beach is 10 minutes walk, if you have kids and beach stuff to carry, than you want be happy about it, and not to forget he internet - signal reach only only the 1st floor, rooms above the lobby. I don` t know where did they get the name for this hotel its far from the beach and definitely not a palace!
