I have stayed here a few times over the years about 10 different times maybe. There is a pool and no plexiglass window here when you register. I have stayed solo here at this hotel more often than I have with my friends or fiance so I actually haven't tried the breakfast but they do have one. I last stayed at this hotel in May 2011 the day Bin Laden was taken out in Pakistan I think the tv works good but iffy sometimes so glad I brought a newspaper with me. On a previous occasion, someone did enter my room but they said sorry and left so no issues. So it does happen and I'm not sure what that's all about why would the management give an extra key out, I think that it was someone who kept their key but don't know I never did tell management about that experience. I stayed here for a week in January 2010 and had no problems. This building has been repainted recently. I asked the manager how old the building is she said she didn't know. There were police there when I checked out because someone had their item stolen or whatever. I was referred here but kind of prefer the Travelodge.

I usually read the reviews, but in this instance I did not have time and just rushed it and booked a hotel in my usual $100 per night target area. It was advertised as 3 stars so I figured it should be ok. On a positive note, the check in and reception staff were very pleasant. chatty and accomodating.

Now the rest: Is is located across the street from the beach area, and the beach area is full of Condos with private beach access, so take a bus or walk a long way to get onto the beach.

The room is in a very poor condition, think Days Inn style, but dirty carpet with holes, the door is filthy from shoe marks, no night lock, I took the little refrigeration and backed it up against the door to sleep. Traffic on the street very noisy. This is probably ok for back-backers or springs breakers, but beyond that, forget it. I would not stay here again.

The reception staff is unfriendly and try to con you out of money the rooms are disgusting and the manager Penny will not even listen to any of your complaints the room key system is primitive and the doors dont close properly. drug dealers and prostitutes hang around openly and the oly good thing about the place is the bar. The breakfast is days old donuts and flap jac's

If your looking for a cheap dump this is the place to stay

Room smelled musty, sheets and comforters had holes in them, carpet was dirty, Someone opened the door with a key and walked in on my girl and I both naked hours after we checked in, when i went down to the front desk and complained the guy there said he was just checking the room because it showed vacant on his computer. Later that night i saw and killed two bugs in the room. No one cleaned the room after the first day, they just replaced the towels and didnt even make the beds or take out the trash not to mention replacing the quarter roll of toilet paper they gave us for two days stay....we had to buy our own. Breakfast was terrible! watered down coffee, cold pancakes and a few english muffins and mini donuts and pancakes. I am never staying here again!
