Not only digusting, but BEDBUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody ought to alert health Dept!!

This is by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had in all our years of traveling! Many small groups of people wandering around the parking lot in circles at all hours of the night. Were they guests? locals? who knew? Luckily, no car break-in to report. Picture filthy rooms, missing curtain hooks, stained upholstery, old chair sitting outside next to the door. We made sure our bare feet never touched the carpeting. To be fair, the sheets did smell of bleach so they were probably clean and no sign of bed bugs. Also, the wi fi worked just fine. The continental breakfast was very sparse, but we wouldn't partake anyway as there was no assurance that it was assembled in a sanitary environment. A lesson to be learned is don't wait until late in the evening to find a hotel. If it's the only one that has availability, there's probably a good reason for it. Do yourself a big favor, and pass this one by!

We booked this hotel through Hotwire, and they had this listed as a 2 star, the bad thing was we booked for 2 nights, and we couldn't bring ourselves to stay the second night. The room was filthy dirty, it had black foot prints across the carpet, the bed spread had cigarette burns even though it was a none smoking room, the underside of the bedspread had blood stains, and when we took off the bedpread there was a filthy blanket on the bed with stains. The bathroom was moldy, and the toilet seat was dirty. The light over the sink just blinked and would not turn on. The wall had holes in it, and fridge smelled and the microwave was dirty. The smoke detector had been removed and wires were hanging from where it had been. DANGEROUS.
When I complained the lady at the desk just shrugged, and said complain in the morning.
The free continental breakfast was terrible, it looked like it had been sitting around for a few weeks, so we didn't even try to eat. The coffee pots were filthy dirty, and the juice machine was not turned on or broken.
Shame on Hotwire and the Knights Inn for allowing such a place to be called a 2 star motel.
I would advise anyone to runaway and don't even THINK about staying there.

Booked through Hotwire who should be responsible for doing due diligence on the suitability of hotels they represent as they do not reveal the name of the hotel until after you have been charged. They are totally irresponsible with this property.
This place deserves no stars at all, yet Howire has it listed as two stars - equivalent to La Quinta etc. Its dirty, mouldy, hasn't seen paint in years, carpet stained, cigarette burns all over the place in a non-smoking room, and it stinks, literally.
Very disappointed in accomodations and even more with Hotwire.
