My husband, dog and I stayed here overnight in May. We were looking for a town and beach that catered to people with dogs. Little did we know that we lucked out and found a little piece of heaven. Yes, Beach Front is old, no it doesn't have a pool or sundeck or anyt of the things that jack up the price of a place to stay. What it does have is something that any realtor will tell you is the most important-location, location, location. We have been back for a week long stay, are going to try for a stay next weekend and we will be going again in August. We pretty much plan to go there anytime we have some time off. We LOVE, L-O-V-E!!!! this place. The price can't be beat, they are courteous, on top of any issues, when we were there we saw several AC units getting replaced. And, did I say anything about location? What a pleasure it was for us to get up in the morning, walk to the end of the breezeway and see the ocean. Then walk over to the beach which even on the weekend was not overly crowded and you can back and forth to your room for anything you need. Our dog was in heaven, being a Lab he loves the water and he got his wish fulfilled. We made sure we cleaned up after him and since he is very friendly we had no issues with keeping him off-leash except when he decided to climb the stairs to the street. We realized that we needed to keep him closer to us. There is a really cute breakfast/lunch place right next door and other restaurants close by or you can go off island. Don't pay more when you don't have to of course if you'd rather then we can keep this little piece of heaven our secret.

Just when you think all of Florida and all motels hate dogs you find Beach Front Hotel. This place is for the "dogs" ... it's fantastic how they cater to dog people. The beach/ocean is right across the street. We saw about 8-10 dogs swimming in the ocean, playing fetch, sunbathing, all behaving like trained obedience dogs. Kudos to Flagler Beach and this hotel. The criticism about the efficiency was rectified/remodeled. The place is in constant sprucing up. I stayed in Room #16 in January and Room #14 this trip with a great side view of the ocean from my balcony.

So I looked here first to see about hotels in Flagler Beach. This one had okay reviews so I went with it. I knew that for $54 a night I would not be getting a great motel. We were visiting family in Flagler Beach and needed a room for just one night. Plus we wanted to go to the beach all day Saturday when we arrived and wanted to stayon the beach.
Pros: 1. just a 3 minute walk to the beach. literally cross the road and you are at the stairs to the beach. That was what we wanted.
2. Rate was great for one nught.
3. Room was clean. I did take cleaning wipes to wipe everything down. I do this everywhere we stay. Sink was a little dirty but over all a clean room.
4. Tile floors. Loved this.
5.Air conditioner worked great.
6.Room was non-smoking. They allow smoking outside but it did seem that the room was not smoked in.
7. No problem parking.
8. Other residents and staff were very nice.
9. Room had a newer small frig and microwave. It also had a coffee maker but it did not look very clean.

Cons:
1. This is a very old hotel. Paint peeling from around the door. Door was hard to get open because it stuck. Bath room was small and toliet was hard to flush.
2. They have live in residents. This was a little scary but all of them were friendly and it was quiet.
3. Pets are allowed. My daughter has allergies so this would not work for us longer than one day. But our room did not have a pet smell.
4. Towels were clean but very stained and one had a hole and tear in it. Sheets were clean but old.
5. Beds were not comfortable.

I would recommend this for one nigt and for young adults wanting a close place to the beach and just a bed to sleep in. i personally would not recommend single women or single woman with kids.

Just got back from a few days in Flagler Beach. Our stay at the Beach Front Motel was enjoyable. It's not at all fancy & if you're looking for bells and whistles, you won't find them here. The location & price can't be beat, the room was nicely furnished-roomy and clean, and the air conditioning worked. Plus the owner was friendly & accommodating.
There is a cute b&b right next door that serves breakfast & lunch. And that never-ending stretch of beach..........Lots of pelicans and we saw dolphins one day too.
