As far as quality, affordable hotels at the beach go I never look other than the Days Inn! I am always impressed not only by the friendly, and helpful staff but by the additional ammenties offered by the hotel. From the bar, to the putting range, to the vollyball net we are never short of things to do. The rooms are larger than the average hotel room and are SO close to the beach you can hear the ocean from the parking lot. The bar inside the hotel is fabulous with very effieicent and hilarious bartenders, awesome pool tables and the best Kareoke on the island! Check in time is fast and you are immediatley immersed in the vacation atmosphere, we have a blast everytime we come and are able to spend more money on food and drinks wih the money we save on the room! Best kept secret on the island! :)

I can't believe the service I recieved, at the price I paid for the room. The staff was excelent!!! The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The property was expansive and clean.

I will definetly stay there the next time I'm in Fernandina Beach

Nice, large room! Nothing fancy at all, but clean and a very good value. Mini-fridge, microwave, iron, blowdryer, everything you need in a quite spacious room. Never heard noise from other rooms. The hotel is VERY close to the beach, which makes it an even greater value! Our ONLY complaint is the water temperature fluctuates quite a bit - we believe this was when others in rooms close to us were showering at the same time. Other than that it was a great experience. Karen at the front desk was very courteous and helped us even when we needed a cork screw for our wine. Great stay all in all!

The location of this hotel is great with the beach in walking distance as well as several nice restaurants. The rooms are basic (including frig and microwave) but great for the price! Housekeeping always did a great job.
The service and help was what went beyond. When we returned to Panama (central america) we realized that the results of clothes shopping had been left in the drawers of the room (never again will we use drawers).
I called the manager, Mike Jasinski, in a panic and asked for help. He checked lost and found, the room and any other place he could think of to no avail! He kept looking and the next day found our clothes and shipped them to the next US location we would visit. Mike saved us from our embarrasement and the loss of several hundreds of dollars of clothes.
