Staying here for a birthday get away! Couldn't be happier with the attentive service by inn keepers Emily and Marshall and the laid back atmosphere. Full service breakfast was delicious. Charmning bar with craft beer located on site. Located in the heart of downtown Fernandina Beach! Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Will definitely come back

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Florida House Inn this New Years Eve, and we stayed there as well for a week. The staff is attentive, caring and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has a relaxed, southern hospitality appeal with the mermaid theme throughout the inn, which we loved. Emily (Saltmarsh) Sands was also the coordinator for our wedding. She and her family are so helpful and creative. She has an artistic eye for wedding planning and decor, and created such a lovely ambiance for our event. Her family even created all the flowers for our reception as well as for our wedding party members. We loved the Florida House Inn and we are already making plans to come back there to stay when we visit again.

The Florida House Inn has such wondeful character & charm. The location is perfect with downtown Fernandina within walking distance. The Inn Keepers & staff are all very accomadating. They really do a good job of making you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our weekend there & look forward to going back.

We have stayed at the Florida House Inn several times over the years, and decided to give it one more try when we heard it is under new ownership. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it has been restored, and is once again the quiet, restful and relaxing Inn we were familiar with years ago. The location is perfect and the rooms are comfortable and inviting. After a delicious and substantial breakfast, we were set for the day The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to our next visit, and we wish the new owners and staff the very best. Thanks for making our stay so special.
