If you want a quiet vacation on a perfect Beach, this is the place. The perfect get away! We were given a spectacular show by some dolphins as well as cranes and other birds on the shore. So laid back & quiet. Rooms were nice and right on the beach. An amazing find!

Upon arriving at the Pearl Beach Inn, it is immediately obvious why anyone would come to this hotel. The hotel is beautifully situated just a few feet from the beach. Some of the rooms are facing the ocean and the sounds of the waves can be heard from inside the room. The view is priceless and can't be beat, especially since there aren't many hotels that are right next to the water.

That being said, the hotel itself was a little underwhelming. The rooms are nice but there aren't really any other services that are customary with a hotel experience. The cleaning staff never cleaned the room until we were checking out. You are responsible for going to the main office to get fresh towels or linens. There was only one person working the office at a time so if that one person stepped out, there was no one around to help. What's more, the rooms were not the best. Our room, and our neighbors, had a bit of an ant problem.

The Pearl Beach Inn's website (www.pearlbeachinn.com) boasts, "Our beachside inn consists of thirteen fully equipped waterfront suites. All fully upgraded with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and richly appointed in tropical fashion." This is simply not true. We had come to the hotel with several other couples and none of the rooms had granite countertops or stainless steel appliances. Of course, the countertops and appliances were fine but then the hotel should not falsely claim amenities that don't exist.

Overall, it was a great experience, but that had everything to do with the beach. The hotel itself was just, "meh." Calling it a "resort" is quite a stretch on their part.

This was our third stay here at the Pearl. When rentals units describe their properties as being ocean or gulf front you don't always get what you think. Well not here at Pearl Beach Inn. It is absolutely on the gulf & each room is steps from the sand & waves. We've stayed in several different rooms & they are all perfect for a beach getaway. You can compare amenities and price if that's what you're looking for, but if all you want is simple comfort, great quiet beach & breath taking sunsets, then this is the place. The staff has always been super & provided all the extra towels etc. that we have needed. Bob & Josh were not only accommodating & helpful but gracious & friendly. Recent upgrades that we enjoyed this trip were the gas grill, new deck & beach furniture & the new walkway to the room. We will be back & hope to bring our whole family next trip.

We have stayed here more than once and will choose this wonderfully intimate location again! So very close to the beach, dolphins playing in your "front yard", and the accomodations were quite adequate... these are only a few of the reasons to choose Pearl Beach Inn.
