We rented a unit at Beso Del Sol from VRBO and got an awesome price. The room was a one bedroom with a pullout couch. We were on the third floor and there was an elevator that helped a lot because we traveled with a 15 month old. It 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette off of the living area. This was a condo but I couldn't see anyone living in it, It seemed like it was made as a rental. The location was great, we were a short drive from anywhere that we wanted to go: beaches, bars, restaurants, and entertainment. There is a bar with live music on weekends located on premise. The prices were a bit high but it did have it's own bar pool and water view. Overall our unit was clean and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Overall it was a great experience. Wonderfully helpful staff, clean condo, nice pool area, fun bar and restaurant onsite. A couple of problems led me to give it only 4 stars: the internet did not work in our condo - altho the staff tried hard to fix it including giving us an ethernet cord and sending someone to try to get us up and running. Our laptop worked for about 20 minutes once and that was it. I heard you could get on the net at the pool or in the office. Didn't try it so don't know for sure. We were offered their computers in the office to use - but if you need to have access to the net on your trip - beware. The towels were awful - I would suggest you bring your own. Kitchen was passable - again the staff did all they could to get us the items we needed, even offered to bring some from home. Our beds were very comfortable - we didn't have the issues others did. The 2 bedroom condo had plenty of living space. One thing it did not have is closet space - again- be aware of this when you pack. Pool area was fun - the shots at sunset great. Dunedin was a nice town - the resort is on the Pinellas Trail - a wonderful easy walking trail that goes for miles. Beaches close by, short drive away.

We stayed in a condo at Beso del Sol in Dunedin, FL for a week at the end of October 2011. It was even better than we expected. The 1 bedroom condo was very nicely done, clean and updated. There were bikes to use and one of the staff members even let us borrow his fishing pole to catch fish off the dock! All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The Tiki Bar was nice and people seemed to have a great time there at happy hour. Even though we aren't into that, we had a nice time sitting at the pool and in the jacuzzi listening to the live music. We played golf nearby, went to the beach and visited the wonderful downtown area of Dunedin. Beso del Sol is walking distance to downtown. It's also across the street from the Pinellas bike trail so wonderful to walk or bike there. It was a great week and a great place to stay.

Beware if you are planning to stay here. The photos shown are from the penthouse and not the room you'll be awarded on your arrival. For the cost £286 for two nights I was extremely disappointed with the size of the accomodation. The main room bed continually creaked and the pull out bed was very uncomfortable with springs felt to the touch - without laying on it. The main room was 6 of my paces x 41/2 paces(i'm 5'11") the bedroom was roughly the same size. Children are not allowed to attend the Tikki Bar or indeed even the side of the decking the bar is located or the pool on that side. Out of 4 rental bikes 3 were un-roadworthy which ended up with ather long walk back....
