We stayed for one week in the Marine Villas at Hawks Cay. Unfortunantly I booked through Keys Caribbean and did not read the reviews on Trip Advisor until I was within the 14 day non refundable period. LISTEN to the reviews...only book directly through Hawks Cay. If you don't you will be denied access to the three GREAT pools, fitness center and have to pay 18% up charge on the restaurants on the property! Be aware that the beaches in the keys are NOT what most people think of as beaches. First there are VERY few and the ones that are there are very narrow, crowded and the little sand is either clumped with dead seaweed or with litter (totally disappointed with the cleanliness of the Keys beaches in general). This being said you will REALLY want to use the Salt Water Lagoon and the other Pools at Hawks Cay. I will admit that on one occassion we just walked right into the Salt water lagoon and no one said anything. The next day however they asked for a room key and turned us away when they saw our key said "Keys Caribbean". Our villa was OK, not great. I left a 10 point list and called the manager telling them the various things not up to standard including moldy shower curtain, broken dishwasher, sugar ants, beds that seemed to be covered in plastic and make loud crunch when you rolled over and an upstairs AC that cooled but left it VERY humid ....I would only recommend WITH caution

We visited the Villas at Hawk’s Cay Village for the first time this winter after staying at the Hawk’s Cay Resort for a number of years. I wondered all the while why we hadn’t been familiar with the Villas many years earlier. We found exceptionally clean and individually decorated units with free and easy to use wifi access. Our villa was a beautiful two bedroom conch in which we had the latest in flat screen tv’s and extremely comfortable bedding. We loved the individual attention of the management, the location, utilized all of the facilities at the village and the Resort. With the money we saved staying at the Villas as opposed to the Resort, we were able to take full advantage of the many activities in the Keys. We would highly recommend the Villas at Hawks Cay Village. We booked our family trip for next winter for the same villa already.

We started going to Hawk's Cay a few years ago for family vacations! We always book through Hawk's Cay and there are many villas that are a part of the Hawk's Cay resort (not Keys Caribbean) with access to all the resort's beautiful amenities. Our most recent visit was after the resort's renovation. They made a lot of changes to the grounds. The new pool and fire pit are my favorite part.
We priced the hotel and the villas. We found the villa to be a good deal for our family. The villas are spacious for our family, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a kitchen, living room, and deck. We were able to have some breakfasts and lunches in our villa which was convenient for our kids. I would definitely recommend the villas at this resort booked through Hawk's Cay.

The villas at Hawks Cay are amazing! You can rent a gorgous townhome , w/ 2 beds and 1-2 baths here for the price of a hotel room, but what others have said above is absolutely correct, the owners that choose to rent thru the Keys Carribean program aren't entitled to use any of the Hawks facilities. Why would you want that?? Just wanted to make sure that no one was misled by these comments... MOST of the villas are part of the resort, so as long as you rent thru them, you will love it here! We go back almost every year for a relaxing family getaway...
