Across the street from the beach! You can't really see it from the hotel, but this is a great low-key way to stay within walking distance. Silver Shells public beach access is just down the street and has parking and restrooms. Hotel has a great location in the middle of Destin and is right next to Henderson State Park.

Breakfast is FREE and FANTASTIC! Eggs, biscuits, waffles, great coffee. Totally exceeded expectations. Room is perfectly nice, bed is great - the room is a little small (bathroom especially), but not a big deal. Staff very nice and professional. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was decent, location not so good, busy road, lots of noise. Can walk to the beach, but it's quite far.

The room was nice and clean, had everything we needed. The layout of the hotel made parking by the room impossible. The nearerst access from the room to the parking lot was 12 rooms away. The advertised hot breakfast was disappointing to say the least. The only things that were hot were potatoes and a "cheese omelet" that looked pre-packaged and warmed. They did have waffle makers. The rest was the typical continental breakfast fare of cereal, bagels, and fruit. Would stay there again... if I couldn't find something else.

Been to Destin last weekend and our stay in Hampton Inn was perfect.Hotel location is great. Just a few steps away from the public beach access.The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. You get to enjoy nice hot and free breakfast. Overall it was more than nice experience for the price we paid.
