For me to only have one complaint, this is a great place! My complaint is probably pretty common in beach condos and I didn't attempt to get management to fix it. The floors were swept clean of sand but after thirty minutes of walking around barefoot our feet were completely black. Pretty gross. We just had to keep our shoes on constantly.
Having said that, here are the good things!
We stayed in unti 610 in tower two. It was a corner unit with a view of the pools below, the small "lake" on property, and a partial ocean view. Not an incredible view of the ocean, but we knew that when we booked. There was a second balcony off one of the other bedrooms that looked out over the golf course.
The three bedroom was 1700 some square feet and slept six of us easily. Each room had its own bathroom which is so nice.
I read reviews that said "short walk to the beach" but I just wasn't sure. It is true. I was able to walk by myself and my 2 and 4 year olds (no stroller) down to the beach. It probably took us 10-15 minutes sometimes but keep in mind that two year olds walk pretty slow, especially when they are stopping to look at the ducks. We walked across the wood walkway that is close to tower two. This takes you to the Whale's Tail restaurant on the beach. The plus to this is that there is a restroom there for those who are staying at Seascape. If you don't care about having bathroom access, you can cross the street right at the entrance to the resort and it's only about a 5-10 minute walk all the way to your chair.
There are several pools. It was too cool for us to do much swimming but we visited the heated pool (which is small) a couple times. They were on a trial basis of letting both towers use all the pools. Usually you can only use the pool at the building you are staying at. Tower one has the heated pool as well as the pool with the fountain you see in all the resort pictures as well as a hot tub. Tower two just has regular pools, nothing fancy.
Parking was fine for us but I can see that it could easily fill up as the resort gets crowded. It's a big building (24 floors). There are luggage carriers in the lobby to use to carry your luggage up to your room so that is helpful. There was also a grocery cart in the lobby that we used to carry in our groceries!
Our unit was owned by the resort. It had a good selection of pots and pans and utensils. Appliances all worked. Bathrooms all worked and were in great condition. Really no complaints other than the floor.
I would definitely stay here again. I booked through bookit.com this time but noticed the rates aren't too bad right through the resort if you have to.
