We stayed in Condo 303C. It is a 2 bedroom condominium with 2 full baths. This condominium may not be the newest or the biggest complex, but it was awesome for parking, beach location, and closeness to everything. In Destin, my family has stayed at Majestic Sun, Tops'l, Surfside, and a home in the Sandestin Resort. This was one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite. It is so family friendly, has lots of amenities for kids, and sits right on the beach. Majestic Sun has been my number one for years, but the fact that the kids could go to the beach without crossing the road and we could wake up to the sound of the surf which was amazing put it really far up there. Our room in particular could use some updating but it was clean and had enough space for everybody to be comfy. On the negative side, the coffee maker did not work at all and that was a nightmare. I ended up boiling water on the stove and pouring it through the coffee maker. Another issue I had with our room was the presence of carpet in the main living areas. I prefer no carpet throughout, especially when I close proximity to the beach, but would have been alright if it was just in the bedrooms. I really prefer no carpet in the living room. I also visited 3 other condos in the Beach House Condominiums and none of them had tile or hardwoods in the main living area. Our unit had a washer and dryer, but I saw many laundry facilities while there. They also have a small game room with vending machines and the movie rental machine. They also had free beach rentals and gas grills for use by anyone. This trip we also took my mother who uses a wheelchair at times and broke her hips months ago. They had no walk-in showers in this room, so if that is an issue for you plan on bringing your own shower chair. If you are looking for a luxurious beachfront high-rise, then maybe you should stay elsewhere. If you want a quiet, small, conveniently located place good for the kids, come on in.
