Love this place have been going for 9 years. This year was different as it was a trip for a getaway for my best friend/sister. She is Stage IV Breast Cancer and is starting Radiation Monday. I have been telling her how great this condo was and she finally got to see for herself. There were 3 of us and everything about the property is perfect, service is great! I will be back next year, only hope and pray she will be with me.

Room tip: Everything is perfect!

This is our 4th time staying in this 2BR, 2 bath condo and each time we visit, we are amazed that they continue to update with CLEAN, new bedding, a HUGE flat screen TV (50 inch), a Tempurpedic bed in the master, a double bed and bunks in the second bedroom and a brand new dining table.
The unit is always extremely clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of towels are provided.
The view is spectacular....you can even see the water from the kitchen, as well as the living room and master. It's a ground floor unit and I love that you can walk right out the back door to nice lawn leading to the beach. During the busy season there are two chairs with an umbrella, which are set up for your use on the beach. Because this is a low rise building, the beach is never overcrowded.
This unit also has a washer/dryer in the condo.

Room tip: First floor condos still have a great view of the ocean AND no elevators or stairs to navigate to the beach.

We chose this place based on the recommendation of a friends that visits every year. We had 2 families traveling and rented a 2 bed condo. Loved that it was away from the actual town of Destin, felt more like a private beach. As soon as we settled in we went to the grocery store and stocked up for the week. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. Even had a washer and dryer. We loved our view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning. Even saw some Dolphins!! The beach was clean and relaxing. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. We found out that you can actually pay the attendants ahead of time, give them your room # and they will set them up for you in the area you request! Then you don't have to rush down and try and reserve them that morning. By the end of the week we had about 6 chairs rented and they made a U shape so we can have conversations with our group. That was even better! It is worth the money to rent the chairs and umbrellas and the attendants were very polite. After the beach, we ate and the kids went to the pool. We even cooked out on the grills one night and ate in the Gazebo. Crabbing on the beach at night was not has fun as it was in Padre Island. We only saw 1 or two crabs which surprised me. Looking down at the beach you can see how crowded it was. Maybe it was a public area but our beach seemed very private which was GREAT!!! I would stay here again if we go back to Destin because it was perfect access to the beach and had a pool. We chose the higher floor so we can have a great view but we noticed the fist floors had a nice grass area off their balcony so that would have been nice too. Great place, definitely recommend staying here. It also had free Wifi. Check in and out was easy and the people were very friendly. Online booking was an easy process as well.

Room tip: Oops they didn't have room service but I couldn't figure out how to remove that from being checked. We did see some kids activities but our kids were older and didn't take advantage of them. First floor on building 4 looked like they had a grass area you could walk out on off their balcony.

I have stayed at the Beachhouse for many years and cannot say enough good things about it.
The beach is never crowded and has only one row of beach chairs even on holidays. The pool is on the beach which is amazing. My family visits in the winter also which is nice because pool is heated. The location is great because it is between Destin and 30A which makes eating out easy.
Also a grocery store is very close as well as Skippers.

We stayed in Condo 303C. It is a 2 bedroom condominium with 2 full baths. This condominium may not be the newest or the biggest complex, but it was awesome for parking, beach location, and closeness to everything. In Destin, my family has stayed at Majestic Sun, Tops'l, Surfside, and a home in the Sandestin Resort. This was one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite. It is so family friendly, has lots of amenities for kids, and sits right on the beach. Majestic Sun has been my number one for years, but the fact that the kids could go to the beach without crossing the road and we could wake up to the sound of the surf which was amazing put it really far up there. Our room in particular could use some updating but it was clean and had enough space for everybody to be comfy. On the negative side, the coffee maker did not work at all and that was a nightmare. I ended up boiling water on the stove and pouring it through the coffee maker. Another issue I had with our room was the presence of carpet in the main living areas. I prefer no carpet throughout, especially when I close proximity to the beach, but would have been alright if it was just in the bedrooms. I really prefer no carpet in the living room. I also visited 3 other condos in the Beach House Condominiums and none of them had tile or hardwoods in the main living area. Our unit had a washer and dryer, but I saw many laundry facilities while there. They also have a small game room with vending machines and the movie rental machine. They also had free beach rentals and gas grills for use by anyone. This trip we also took my mother who uses a wheelchair at times and broke her hips months ago. They had no walk-in showers in this room, so if that is an issue for you plan on bringing your own shower chair. If you are looking for a luxurious beachfront high-rise, then maybe you should stay elsewhere. If you want a quiet, small, conveniently located place good for the kids, come on in.
