This was our first trip to Destin and had no idea where to stay. We will definitely be back to this resort. We picked Tops'l for the price offered, it ended up costing $175 a night. Be sure to request a condo on the beach. They have 2 choices, we stayed in the Tides. This is a large facility. We stayed in room 610 and I would highly recommend it. It had a partial view of the ocean. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, a huge balcony with seating for 6. The sofa was a sleeper. This would comfortably handled 4 adults, 6 if someone doesn't mind the sleeper sofa. We had dinner at the Ocean Club restarant at the entrance of the property. They offered a 2 for 1 dinner menu if you dine between 5 and 6pm. Average plate $30, so it was worth it to go early. The food was amazing. We also dined at the pool snack bar for lunch and it was nothing special at all. The sand on the beach was like powder, soft and white. I had a massage by the company that provides service to Tops'l. My therapist was Gary. This was the BEST massage that I have ever had and I have had alot. The price was $85.00, significantly cheaper than the Hilton next door. My husband played golf at the Raven Golf Course. It was beautiful. They provided excellent service, no GPS on the carts though. The 2nd day we drove into Destin, about 15-20 minutes to have dinner. We ate at the Black Pearl (excellent view) and stayed for singing and dancing at the piano bar upstairs, Howl at the Moon. This was alot of fun and the best thing is that we were surrounded by adults. I don't think that anyone there was under 30 (avg age was mid 40s to mid 50s. On our third night we ate at Flemings Prime Steakhouse right down the road. The service was off that night due to a wedding party but the seafood was excellent regardless. Tops'l is a great family or couples resort.

The wife and I stayed at the Summit (806A) and when we walked in it reminded us of our hotel room the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Hawaii. The suite was very clean and furnished just right to meet our needs and beyond. This is a very nice resort. Access to the beach is not as far as we read about during other reviews (5 min walk) and the pool/jacuzzi was very nice. If you want peace and quiet and easy access to all the nearby attractions...THIS IS IT!!! We plan on bringing the kids for Christmas break...

Penthouse 1406 was the perfect place to stay after Christmas! It is tastefully decorated, very clean and has an absolutely spectacular view of the beach from the balcony, family room and MBR balcony. It was spacious and perfect for the three of us to stay. Loved the 52" screen TV ! It was wonderful to have a fitness center in the building too. The grounds of the property and building are well maintained and managed by very friendly people. Great shopping and restaurants nearby as well. We shall return Mr. Espinosa!!!

We stayed in unit 108 in the Summit. The unit was great, it was nicely decorated and very clean. It was directly across from the bar b que area and next to the pool /hot tub. While the walk was about 10 minutes to the beach, it did not pose any real inconveniences. (There were not roads to cross).

We would definitely stay there again!
