During the process of booking this condo, I checked all reviews and this is my question. OK: It seem like 50% of people who have stayed at this condo recommend it and 50% of people who have stayed at this condo will not recommend it after their stay. Now, it seem like all the people who had problems during their stay was in the same "UNIT" or in a unit owner by the same person. So with that being said, my question is Is it the UNIT that make you feel the way you do or is it the WHOLE CONDO it Self???? Please help my arrival is in a day!

We stayed in gulf view 122 and we had an amazing experience! Everything was clean and very close to the beach. we will stay here again in the future!! We were staying here for our wedding and it was perfect for what we needed it for! great exerience and great price!

I have never arrived at a hotel or rental property to find it absolutely unsanitary like Gulfview Condos. After a long drive to Destin, we spent an hour in town just locating the property. It is just outside of Destin, so your GPS directions and information can not locate the address! We had to pull over, turn on the laptop and internet and finally figured out where to go. Upon arrival I noticed the grounds were not well maintained. We started up the stairs(no elevators) with all our luggage. The stairs and sidewalks were filthy and littered with beer cans, cig butts, banana peels, you name it!! We opened the door to our unit and it was so disappointing. The fabric couch and chairs were brown and gray with dirt and stains, the bedding had NOT been changed our cleaned, the steps to the bunk beds were covered with muddy, dirty footprints...base boards, bathrooms, kitchen, was all disgusting! Plastic patio furniture was broken as well. No pride at all in the care of this condo. I could not believe it. I was not about to let anyone of us get in those beds. We called Resortquest managment (not located on site...no managment is) and waited for them to meet us and arrange for another condo at one of their other properties. They did so, and made notes of the complaints we had. We eventually ended up at Crystal Sands down the street, which was much better, but not great. I feel that Resort Quest does a very poor job at managing their properties. I would never stay in another one managed by them. Be very careful before staying here! Read the reviews!!!! I wish I had.

You have to visit Captain Kidds its a wonderful place to eat all you want. The Beach there is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The lay out of the condo was really nice. Kitchen had everything you could ask for to cook inside there.
