We stayed in #104 which we booked through ResortQuest. This unit was VERY handy to the pool. We were steps away from the pool from our back porch. Our back porch had plenty of outdoor furniture which was nice to sit on plus for somewhere to hang our wet items. We were also right by the grills and picnic table The other HUGE plus was being right by one of the public beach entrances. There was beach service (you pay at the beach) which was handy if you didn't bring your own umbrella and chairs.
The condo is across from the beach. You just cross the two lane road, no biggie there. We were on the bottom floor, so of course we didn't have a view of the beach. I'm not sure the view was much better further up, because there's another condo complex across the street which appeared to block much of the beach view. Just my opinion...we realized a view is important for us because it's nice to be able to sit out there and drink coffee in the morning, or have an ice cold beer with salt and lime in the evening. For us it's important because we want to see something we don't have.
Our condo had cute furnishings, form followed function so we had plenty of storage. We took one of the unused comforters off the twin bunk and put it over the window in the king bedroom to block some of the light coming through. Although it helped some, there's still a lot of light coming in from the parking lot and sidewalks. The washer/dryer in the unit were so handy, love coming home with clean clothes.
No granite in the unit, but I don't care about that. As long as the kitchen and bath work properly, I'm fine. Like most folks, we weren't planning to hang out in the condo for other than taking care of business, pretty much stayed on the go. Loved going parasailing, dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, beaching. However, if you look at my previous contributions, we are picky about bedding. The king bed was not the worst we've ever slept on, but it wasn't the best either. We were so tired that we were able to sleep. However, the next time bedding is purchased, I would recommend a nice mattress with comfort coils or good technology, emphasis on comfort. Same for the bunk beds. Not sure what can be done with a fold out sofa.
Our condo was efficient and affordable. I highly recommend it to families on a tight budget. It's a family-oriented complex so it was nice not having to deal with wild partiers. I want to emphasize this is a good little condo with many pluses.
