Overall this hotel was a good choice for our small beach wedding ceremony and reception. We had our wedding on the beach access across the street from the Inn and our reception at Camille's. The food was amazing! All our guests were pleased with their meals. The manager Chris was very accommodating and helpful too.
My only real complaint was the room location they gave us. It was between the office and a loud group of teenagers staying in the room next to us. You would think they would have thought ahead since we reserved our room and wedding there months in advance and given us the best room they had. Also, when I called the front office to ask to have our room cleaned the receptionist said OK but then no one ever came so I had to go get fresh towels myself from the office. We only stayed two nights but upon leaving we realized on the card hanging on the door you have to flip it to let the maid know you want your room cleaned. Out of all the many hotels I have stayed in this is the only one where you have to ask for cleaning service. The floors were really dirty too, even on the first day we arrived, I think that it would be best if they get area rugs for the rooms to trap some of the dirt. The bed was really comfy.
Overall the location is amazing, the kayak/bike rental shop is a great feature, the staff is nice and food at the restaurant and cafe is great. I would recommend the Beachside Inn. They just need to work a little on their "polish."
