I hesitate to share how special this Inn is for fear it will be discovered by the masses....all I can say is Beachside Inn is quaint, a rare find for the price. It is a small inn, conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. The housekeeping is outstanding as is the staff. We will be returning soon!

We just had a quick nights stay here. The room was lovely and charming, very large with nice decor and furniture. It's a small motel, older, but with lots of charm. The pool area was a little dirty around the steps and pool (cigarette butts, sand, etc), but really neat because it had 2 tiers. The room was really super clean except the edges of things. The only real problems we had with the room were: they need to clean better around the edges of things-bathroom sink in the corners had a lot of small hair and dust, the window seal and edge of curtain had lots of dust bunnies, the bed pillows are super stuffed and uncomfortable for the neck and the bed squeeked when you moved. The bed was very soft though and comfortable. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. She was fun to talk to. The beach is across the street with public access. You can just walk over. There's a really cute little restaurant under the pool area where you get a free muffin and drink for breakfast. REALLY GOOD! We didn't try the open evening only restaurant upstairs. We went to the Crab Trap Restaurant down the road (really good). Anyway, we would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat! (Just wipe the sink down) lol.

My husband I stayed at this inn for a weekend getaway. The hotel is in one of the best locations to be in destin. It is quite and calming. They have a wonderful outdoor pool with a spa offering a great view. The ocean is a minute walk. U can see the ocean from accords the street. The restaurant camilles on the property is fantastic. I definitely recommend eating there while staying at the inn. There is also a lot of shopping and other restaurants nearby. There were a few things during the stay that did annoy me. We arrived at the hotel on a friday and the hotel office was closed. They did have a number to call, which the people at that number had no clue. I then walked upstairs and the restaurant manager got us the code for the room. We were in a handicap room right next to the office which is not as nice as the other rooms and tends to be noisier due to the location. They only provided one bar of soap and shampoo. The cleaning ladies didn't make it to our room until after 5pm both days and they didn't provide more soap or clean the floors or clean the shower when clearly it needed to be cleaned. I recommend bringing socks or slippers to wear since the floors always feel sticky and sandy and they don't clean them for u. They did change our sheets when we asked. Overall the good outweighed the bad and we would maybe stay again. Oh and no free breakfast. It's a great place to stay. Just request that u do not want the handicap room...

My daughter got a new kitten 2 weeks ago. Threw a bit of a curve into our vacation plans. Researched pet friendly places on beach. Selected Beachside Inn. Staff was awesome! We walked across the road to beach each day and and did not worry about the kitten back in the room. Close to everything in Destin we wanted to do
( shopping , restaurants, beach ). Will go back for sure.
