This has to be one of the best hotels to stay at if you have kids! We stayed in the kids’ suite with our 2 and 4 year old boys. It had a divided wall section so they could have their own bunk beds, TV, DVD player and PS2! We went on vacation during the off season and there were fewer activities for the kids but they were still excided with everything else this hotel had to offer. The kid suites are great, multiple pool options with heated indoor pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. The only bad thing I could saw about this hotel was that the carpet in the room was a little more dirty than it needed to be but with small kids then can dirty up an operating room in 5 minutes! haha. We had breakfast in the cafe the first morning and the food was good with large portions. I guess during the off season there is not a buffet. The location is great, rooms are nice, friendly staff, great security with a guard that patrols the hotel at night, amenities are great (popcorn and ice cream @ 3pm every day, free movies rentals (like Redbox), etc.). I would recommend this hotel and will be returning again soon!

Most of the properties available in Destin are condo's only. This is a nice, beachfront hotel. It is very child friendly with lots of activites for children, but as a couple it is still a great place to stay. My husband and I always stay here when we visit Destin in the fall. The hotel is clean and the staff are very nice. There is a restaurant avaliable for breakfast and lunch and the bar serves a limited menu at night. Outdoor and indoor pool and hottub. Free 24 hour movie rentals and popcorn and ice cream free in the afternoons. The hotel is also located in a good area close to most of the good resturants and clubs.

We just got back from a great stay at the Holiday Inn. The people at the front desk with unbelievably nice and really helpful. Our room was great, didn't use the pool but it looked clean and the beach was perfect. The afternoon popcorn and ice cream bars and morning coffee was greatly appreciated. It is centrally located right in the middle of the beach and so not far to many restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back and next time bringing the whole family!

Be aware that when you book through Priceline, the hotel will give you their least desired room and it can NOT be changed. Our room for 3 nights was on the second floor adjacent to the elevator shaft. Having the a/c fan set to constant allowed us to sleep through the almost non-stop elevator noise. The room was plenty spacious as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable but were just full-sized. Shower was good and there were more than enough good towels. There were a ton of kids staying here. The hotel is right on the beach with nice walkway to water. Parking area was large. Overall, a good stay with the exception of our room being adjacent to the elevator and the front desk staff unwilling to change our room (regardless of whether the property was full or not).
