I stayed here for 2 weeks over the past summer and couldn't have been more surprised by the size and price. I happened to hit the hotel during a rate change and saw my room go from 140's down to the 80's. A full kitchen with an extremely large desk, full living room with pull out bed, california king in the separate bedroom. You could stay in this one room with two couples, easily.

I recently moved from Orlando to Miramar Beach and love everything about this hotel!
The room is fantastic, clean, comfortable and has everything I need! I have the one bedroom king suite with a separate livingroom, sleeper sofa and comfortable recliner! The Bedroom has a kingbed and having stayed in other Candlewood Suites, this hotel has more space than the others!
The staff are incredible, friendly, caring, while maintaining the professionalism and courtesy any company would be proud to employ! They go that extra nine yards to please their customers, sadly, something we appear to be loosing in todays environment.
This is better than staying in an apartment, in my opinion. Minutes from the beautiful ocean and away from the hazzle of the big cities, but with everything close by!

My husband and I just got back from Destin. We where there for Thanksgiving weekend 2011 and this hotel was great. We traveled with our dog and I was really worried about hotels who except dogs. This place was so friendly and so clean. I was really surprised!!! I would go back anytime. We where in a room 211 and it was perfect. All the staff there was also really friendly and nice. No problems. They have a nice walking area for the dog just perfect!!! We enjoyed our time there and already miss it, its too cold at home!!! Good location!!!

make sure you know the rate for all your days here...they try to stick in more expensive nights..
This location also has issues with bed bugs....not uncommon in Destin...get a room that has been treated. The day managers here are somewhat indifferent..dont you love the new generation of youth who think its about them and not the guests???They would never be
employed at the area Hotels. Only motels. There is much better places than this in Destin.
