This place is disgusting! Our rooms were overcrowded with unnecessary furniture. There were holes in some walls, and in the bathroom an apparent hole in the shower had been patched with a large board. We had to have our room keys reactivated daily. The overall the condition of the hotel was poor, with a dirty lobby and not-quite-clean hotel rooms. Pick another place!

Our reservation had 2 adults and 3 small children. We had checked in extremely late but the lady at the front desk was very willing to help us check in and was very knowledgable in giving directions to where we needed to go. We booked 2 nights but a change in our plans had us check out the afternoon of the 2nd day and the front desk was willing to work with us on a price!! We had a great stay and will return. This is a basic hotel; if you are looking for luxury and room service you are in the wrong place! It's ok to rough it sometimes!

I stayed in days inn DeFuniak Springs FL in August. I had planned on staying two nights. I had with me two of my grandchildren, one a new born. After leaving the room for a while, I returned to find my room unattended and unlocked with the door slightly open. Then as my ten yr old granddaughter was laying on the bed , a roach crawled across her. We checked out.

I have visited the Days Inn in Defuniak Springs several times. On the outside it looks to be cleaner than the hotels surrounding it, which is why I initially chose it. Each time I visited, a different price was quoted and they "bargained" with me on how much they'd charge me this week. The rooms are okay, I always stay in the same room. I've had to return the key card to them on 2 occasions so they could reactivate it because they only do it a day at a time, even if you ae scheduled to stay 2 nights, to avoid theft. (?) My last experience 2 days ago is why I won't return. Again the price has changed and the floor of the room was dirty, and the tv guide is always a week behind. Service was poor and the price had increased by ten dollars just from two weeks before.
