Easy on off from 95. Reasonable priced rooms. Very pretty grounds, lush tropical foliage. Rooms and grounds quiet. They had nighttime security in the parking lot and key cards necessary for entering hallways.
The room was perfectly clean and well appointed; however, smelled strongly of tobacco smoke. A/C was efficient and quiet. The flat screen hi-def TV was nice with a good channel package (inc. Showtime). Everything worked properly - WiFi especially good with no sign-in or password nonsense - good high speed connection. The beds were very comfortable.
Parking was very limited on our side of the building and we had to go completely around and park on the opposite side of the building - Made a note of the problem rooms for parking: Avoid if possible even numbered rooms from 6-24 in primary building (one with the desk & lobby) . No elevator that side either, up to 3 floors of stairs.
There was a shortage of towels - only one set per room? There were other guests waiting for towels at the desk while we were getting a second set. Getting more was easy, they had them right there. They must get asked a lot.
Continental breakfast was OK for a budget hotel, but limited for LaQuinta. Didn't see any fruit, pastries, or yogurt. Had a few cold cereals, watery juice, hard boiled eggs, and either bagel or Eggo type toaster waffle. Coffee - sort of. This is a pretty big hotel with a very very small lobby & breakfast area - people were bumping into each other .
Also, the person attending the breakfast was not very efficient like we are used to seeing at other LaQuintas - HE RAN OUT OF COFFEE at about 8:15 am and was unaware of it. If nothing else - please have coffee flowing in the AM. Had to use our in room coffee maker for some java.
