We met friends here that go to this area a few times a year. We did not expect too much, but were surprised. That staff was very friendly, the rooms were affordable... And for the shocker? The room was pretty nice. Clean, and comfortable. A couple extra towel delivered upon request. The pool was a blast to hang out at. The pool bar opened, and we got some munchies and drinks. Burgers and dogs, but it was still nice not having to leave for dinner. Close to other places to eat, and the people at the front desk were very helpful in helping us pick a place to go for dinner. I will be happy to go back here.

Stayed here the week before Christmas and would definitely stay here again if we came back to this area. Two double beds, good sized bathroom, plenty of clean towels, excellent double-glazing - important if you take a "city-view" room which is worth it for watching all the fab cars and weirdos! Buffet breakfast was included which wasn't bad with a selection of cereal, bagels, muffins, make-your-own waffles, juice, egg, and sausage-patty things which were a bit of an acquired taste/texture...
The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Monique.
We chose not to hire a car so we travelled a fair bit on the buses/trains and hired bikes. If you come out the hotel and walk about 10 mins directly up over Hillsborough Blvd bridge, you'll come to a Tourist Information Centre on the right hand side. On the left hand side there are also a couple of local shopping malls with a supermarket and some restaurants.
Deerfield Beach seems to be quite an up-market area which is spotlessly clean with a selection of restaurants. Flanagan's is excellent, and so was Casa Maya up in the shopping mall off Hillsborough Blvd.

We were part of group. We were charged $10 a night to park and were told everyone pays that charge. I still can't understand why we were charged to park at a place we were staying at. We got room 214 which is a handicap room on the smoking section. As a family we are non smokers so when the elevator door opened the smell of ashtray hit us like a tone of bricks. The ice machine was across the hall from our room and quite a few people use the ice machine at 3 am. The room needed some TLC. The shower rod was held together with duck tape. The wall paper was peeling and the carpet had seen better days. The comforter had stains on it as did the sheets. The mini fridge and microwave were in the corner of the room. I read the posts about no hot water and turned the hot water on high in the shower and nearly burned my foot off. The hot water in that room worked! There isn't a place for our group to hang out so we scattered. We weren't allowed to sit by the pool unles we used the pool or bought drinks from the bar. The lobby wasn't large enough to hold our group of 15. The breakfast was basic. My son(16) liked the strawberry waffles. They also had formed eggs(powdered?) and some kind of patties. The lady keeping the area clean did a good job of keeping it stocked and clean. The toaster had 4 slotts for for bread so the line for it was long. The food itself was dry and the bananas were green and hard. This place has earned a remodeling and it should be done right away!

very friendly staff, and excellent location 50 yds from beach with its own pool and excellent breakfast make this a value for money plkace to chill out.
