Where do I start...
The first room we were put in a corner room by the elevator and it was filthy; the carpet turned my feet filthy just walking around for 10 minutes. Ants were on the bathroom counter. Underage kids were running around the hotel and hung out in front of our room smoking and talking loudly. After complaining about the problems, we were told that it wasn't the desk's fault about the kids.
We were moved to the room across the hall because of the lack of cleanliness in room # 1 (mind you this was at 2:30 am.) The second room had a cleaner carpet, however, there were suspicious stains on both the couch and bedspread. Not only that but the toilet wobbled and was coming off the floor. (after 11 hours flying and having to deal with the other problems, we gave up complaining..)
The next day, I asked to be moved again, and was told that because I pre-paid, those were the rooms available. (Travelocity lost a new customer with that statement)
Their "breakfast was horrid! the 'eggs & sausage' patties' were those pucks (overcooked to the point of crispiness) that you can find at the cheap truck-stops. The 'biscuits' with the gravy & biscuits were in reality hard tack that the old sailing ships rationed out to the gristled tars.
I almost forgot about the 'free' internet; I could not log on with either my iPad or kindle (NO WIFI). The only way I could get internet was to use the cord that was badly placed (with a very short cord) on the side of the bed that had no table available. When I tried to call the tech line, I gave up because I was on hold for over 15 minutes
Although, if you wish to be treated badly, have bad food, and sleep in a filthy room; this is the place to go...
